Spread From The Economic Thought To The Ideology Of Expansion

Neo-liberalism has become a hot academic topic during the recent years, which originates from the heory of economics; however scholars of different branches are focusing on the expansion of it from different aspects of politics and sociology etc. It is significant to make a deep and systematic research of neo-liberalism under the circumstance of the world economic globalization and the transforming of our economy. This dissertation mainly focuses on the transforming process of neo-liberalism from one trend of economic thought to ideology. The research is on the basis of the theory of Marxist ideology and the ideology of neo-liberalism is analyzed.The research is valuable to enrich the theory of Marxist economics and the education and it also can be referred to set down the policies in the sociology study and public opinions.The dissertation consists of six chapters:The introduction includes the origin of the research, the definition of neo-liberalism, the background and the scope of the research and the recent literature study of the three basic forms of neo-liberalism. On the basis of the study the basic frame of the research and the theoretic model of the spreading form of the global expansion of the ideology of neo-liberalism are presented. In this chapter the two basic routes of the expansion are analyzed: the inner expansion route in "the center" and the one in "the periphery" country.The first chapter traces back to the history of neo-liberalism and makes a description for the realization of neo-liberalism in the modern society. The historical trace of the tradition of classical liberalism, the evolution of Keynesianism, the development of neo-liberalism is studied respectively.The kernel of the dissertation is from the second chapter to the fourth chapter. Through the analysis of the thought and the theory of the logical starting point of ideologization, the policy and the practice of the transforming media of neo-liberalism ideologizaion, also the spread and the penetration of the trend of expansion of neo-liberalism ideologization the basic model of neo-liberalism ideologization is established logically. The process of neo-liberalism ideologization is realized gradually, which consists of academic thought-practice of the policy-ideology. In the second chapter the ideological origin of neo-liberalism is firstly analyzed as a thought of economics from the theoretical origin of it. The two opposite theories of economics are also analyzed in this chapter: Keynesian economics and western Marxism economics, which are compared with neo-liberalism economics. After the comparison the basic theoretical features of neo-liberalism economic thought and the ideology of economy of neo-liberalism are gotreached.In the third chapter the judgment that the policy of neo-liberalism is a beneficial choice of the monopolized capital is proved through the demonstration of its influence on the world economy. And the role of neo-liberalism in the process of ideologization is also analyzed, which offers a description of neo-liberalism ideologization.In the fourth chapter the concrete realization and basic reason of neo-liberalism ideologization are argued from the ideological level of neo-liberalism. The impact of neo-liberalism ideology is also analyzed from the different focuses of western scholars and Chinese major scholars on neo-liberalism ideologization.In the fifth chapter the rule of neo-liberalism ideologization is analyzed on the basis of the concrete route study of neo-liberalism ideologization. The relationship between the establishment of ideology and the penetration of the economic thought is also argued in this part. The theoretical model of the influence of economic thought on the ideological constuction is established, which describes the complicated relationship between economic thought and social ideology. According to the above analysis, some suggestions to resist neo-liberalism ideology and enhance the ideological consucion in our country are proposed in this dissertation.This dissertation is innovative to set the model of global transmission of neo-liberalism ideology, the model of neo-liberalism ideologization in central countries and the model of economic thought, ideology and the relationship of social conformation. The internal rule of the expansion route of neo-liberalism ideology in the world, the role of the policy of neo-liberalism through the change from economic thought to ideologization and the realization of the economic thought of ideologization are also analyzed in this dissertation.
