Ever since the "Jieyan" (Removal of Restriction) in 1987, social thoughts keep mounting up in Taiwan and many events came up in Taiwan's thought and theory field that lead to series of different or even opposite discourses. This thesis tries to trace back to Taiwan's sophisticated contemporary theory field, through thorough, networked and structured analysis on the historical development, complexity and problems from the perspective of post-modernism, post-colonic discourse, localism and the unique Taiwan Left-wing statement, point out that the theoretical thoughts after "Jieyan" has penetrated into Taiwan's contemporary social and political thoughts that formed complex tension in ideology field, gaps and even collisions. With the introduction of various theory resources in Taiwan intellectual circle to pose series of ambiguous opinions and viewpoints on "what's Taiwan" and "how to interpret Taiwan", an extremely sophisticated theory layout has been formed with the tension and worries of theories. After "Jieyan", the "Oppose Movement", which was to fight against Kuomintang's "Authority Rule", went to its terminal historical stage that led to the turn of thought and division of humanity thought. On the one side, the "Localism", "Taiwan Nation" and "New Ideology"(with the "Guoju" discourse as its center) sprang up to form influential discourse power that seize its culture hegemony position step by step and one big narration replaced another big narration; on the other hand, a voice of anti-new ideology appeared, too. This thesis tries to place a series of theories, including transformation of post-modernism and post-colonialism, differences of post-colonialism statements in Taiwan, ghost of colonial modernism, the rising and development of localism, the dilemma and waking of traditional left-wing, the relationship of post-modernism and new left-wing thought, in this structure and network to understand and explore them. We hold the view that all the differences in Taiwan theory circle after "Jieyan" implies the tension and anxiety for "Taiwan interpretation", which will continue to exist if the Taiwan intellectual circle could not return to its historical, cultural, political and humanity value base and truly re-construct a thought of order and justice.
