The Research Of China Modernization Theory And Practice By Mao Zedong And Deng Xiaoping

The modernization has been an important issue in contemporary China,which is historical process evolving from traditional society to modern society.The path of modernizing was a historical choice made by Chinese people.Ever since the Opium war,to rid the country of the situation of being beaten,countless people with lofty ideals sought constantly.After the founding of the People's Republic of China,the communists of China found a way to the China's modernization,that is,the socialist modernization.The CPC central committee with chairman Mao zedong at the core conducted the Chinese people to accomplish the task of democratic revolution,which paved the road for the China's modernization;The establishment of socialist system carved out a wide road for China's modernization.The preliminarily designed overall objectives for the China's socialist modernization provided valuable exploration for finding suitable modernization path for China and made considerable achievements.Of course,China's modernization is a unprecedented cause and there is no example to follow,not to speak of existed path to follow suit,so it was inevitable to make some errors and detours.After the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee,the Party Central Committee began to emancipate the mind,seek truth from facts and set things to rights,shifted successfully the focus of work of the party and state and ushered into a new period of modernization;Focused on the liberation and development of productive forces and blazed a trail of modernization; set new goals for the modernization from a strategic height on the basis of national conditions;Gradually established new system of socialist market economy through all-round reform;Bold exploration initiated a new state of socialist modernization and China's modernization has made world-renowned achievements.MAO zedong and Deng xiaoping,in different historical periods of China's modernization,shouldered the mutual historical mission of China's modernization and they came down in a continuous line and meanwhile kept innovating and developing.The fifteenth national congress of CPC highly generalized the greatness of Deng xiaoping theory," It links realms of philology,scientific socialism,etc;it covers economy,politics,science,education,culture,races,military affairs, foreign affairs,united front and the party building as a relativelycomprehensive system.This was scientific and positive comment on Deng xiaoping theory.Meanwhile,the modernizations of industry,agriculture,national defence,and science technology(the four modernizations)were clearly proposed by party central leaders at the core of Mao zedong when they were leading China's modernization.They proceeded strenuous exploration and the result was fruitful.Deng xiaoping,the key member of that leader group,played a indispensable role in the four modernizations.Though China's modernization was far from that,the modernizations of industry and agriculture were necessary contents compared with the exploration of Mao zedong and Deng xiaoping. Therefore,when arranging the chapters of this article,we listed the modernizations of industry and agriculture separately,and we integrated the economy,politics,technology,education,culture, military affairs,foreign affairs together and made comparative study based on this consideration.However,in terms of ethnic policies, united line,etc,we inherited more and innovated less and we didn't discuss it separately and just made some comparison in related chapters when considering the length of the chapters.China's modernization is a long-term and arduous historical process.Mao zedong,Deng xiaoping,as founders and blazers of China's modernization,undertook strenuous exploration and made enormous achievements and summed up priceless experience.Today, as we are holding high the great banner of Deng xiaoping theory and building well-off society in an all-around way,the modernization has entered a phase where critical problems need to be addressed.The situation is pleasant,the prospect to be bright,but there is still a long way to go.we are supposed to summarize the experience of success and draw the lesson of failure and provide instruction and advise for the underway modernization.
