At present, China’s reform has entered a stage of deepening and meeting challenges.Mao Zedong’s and Deng Xiaoping’s dialectical thoughts, the centre of their philosophy,was compared on the basis of the China’s traditional conditions and the actual development of the times, and the similarities and differences between the two contradictory dialectics explored; To understand and grasp the evolution of the relationship between the various elements of the complex social phenomenon in China in the process of yesterday and today carry great and profound implications for us to understand and grasp the unity of opposites in the present and future practice in China,and to understand the new situation and new problems to seek the most reasonable and effective method to solve the new problem.Hegel’s philosophy is the first theoretical form of a modern contradiction dialectic method, while Marxist contradictions of Dialectics becomes the philosophy theory of wisdom based on inheriting and criticizing Hegel’s dialectical method. It can be used as a coordinate method to the comparison between Mao Zedong’s contradictions dialectical thought and Deng Xiaoping’s one. Their contradictions dialectical methods are essentially Marxist Dialectics of practice. The theories are theoretical expressions of the practical wisdom of the Chinese people’s revolution and construction, which conform to the logic of Marxist contradictions dialectical method. They have the consistency in theoretical characteristics, basic theories and the principle of methods. But, they have also differences. Firstly, it’s different in the practice platform. Secondly, it’s different in the logic order of precedence of direct practice of opposition unity. Finally, it’s different between the two views and ways of thinking due to the above further contradiction. The similarities and differences means that we should adhere to the nature of law practice of the dialectical contradiction. Neither will Mao Zedong’s and Deng Xiaoping’s contradiction dialectics be treated as universal and equal so that it will make them into Marx’s criticism vortex of the concept of Dialectics; Nor can we see the inheritance and development relationship existing between them. We should not put them into the opposite state, not to support or negate only one side. Through the comparative study we should also be clear that the new changes of China’s social practice will promote contradictory dialectics to realize their own new theoretical form, which is the generation and development of harmonious dialectical method. It will provide us a powerful ideological weapon to understand and resolve new problems and new challenges in socialist construction. |
