Assessment And Optimization Of Harmonious Society Based On Entropy Theory

To build a harmonious society is China's proposition in the new era of socialist construction, and the harmonious society covers all social scopes and many aspects of social systems. To speed up the construction of the harmonious society, it must grasp its spirit and connotation, hold social developing trends, scientifically draw up measures to accelerate social development and strengthen social capacity for regulation and control. To assess social development in time and scientifically has a good significance to advance the harmonious society construction.This dissertation begins with the connotations of the harmonious society, briefly introduces the historical, social and internation backgrounds of building harmonious society, and contrasts the similarities and differences of harmonious thoughts home and abroad. Based on the systematic analysis of the establishment, main meanings and concerning fruits of the harmonious socilist society, it concludes four main characteristics. To scientifically assess the harmonious society process, this paper comprehensively analyzes the social theories and assessment methods with some influential models, and this does a solid basis and methodological supports for the study.As the society is a complex huge system, this paper applies the entropy theory, one important theory in complex system science, to social study. After the analysis of entropy's characters, laws, minus-entropy and its applications with social thermodynamics characters, the social entropy is introduced with detailed study of its meanings, social dissipativity structure, dissipative mechnisms and social self-adaptability. The arguments in social Entropy Production and Entropy Reduction are made theoretically and practically according to the entropy's laws, and the conclusion is made that the social development is a spontaneous entropy production. To realize the harminious, stable social development, it must improve internal mechanisms to control entropy productions, at the same time, absorbs the entropy reduction externally; and only with a low entropy or minus entropy, can the society develop harmoniously. The entropy production curve and the entropy reduction curve are discussed with the reasons of the social entropy change. Then the social system cone model is made, and with the entropy theory, the social changes and the orientation of the harmonious society are interpreted. To better practical applications of the social system cone model, the dissertation employs HDI (Human Development Index) and regional diversity factors to model the social entropy production process, and the sub-systems'development indxt to model the inflow of the minus entropy, so the cone model is quantized and standardized, and how to use the model and what about the criterion is summed up. Based on the models of social development dynamics and social controls, the social optimization– control model and control methods are presented with the main fields China should adjust and control. At last, with Tianjin's Binhai New Area as a model, the dissertaion gives a demonstration with cone model, and the social development index, sub-system index and social harmoniousness is made, so the practicability and popularization is tested.
