The Issues Of Ideological Emancipation In China Socialist Reform

Reforms require ideological emancipation. If socialist reform means breaking through Marxism, China socialist reform means the breaking with the marking of China's actual conditions and Chinese culture. This reform has been going for more than 30 years and how many years are needed is being waited for. The ideological emancipation in this thesis means the whole journey of reform in terms of time with economic reform as its main carrier. The reform is multi-faceted containing economy, politics, society, culture, and so on.The key break through of China reform is choosing market economy to build socialism. The socialist market economy not only bears the task to impel productivity, but also to improve production relations and develop the superstructure. The selection of socialist market economy begins with the need of developing productivity, but not ends with the scope of productivity. The ideological emancipation of socialist market economy indicates that there are two problems needing our great attention. For practical level, the phase of combined development of market economy and socialism in China should be made clear and for theoretical level, the question of whether common prosperity can be finally realized with the combination of market economy and socialism should be answered. Actually, they are unified and it shows concretely as follows:The development of socialist market economy needs three links in China and three basic problems can be solved by ideological emancipation. First, at the initial stage of reform, should answer whether socialist countries can use market economy to develop productivity. Deng Xiaoping Theory has embodied the option of market economy and Jiang Zemin's important thought of "Three Represents" pursues the market orientation and has established the combination of socialism and market economy. Second, at the actual stage of reform, should answer whether harmonious society can be built based on market economy in socialist countries. The reconstruction of market operation mechanism is the main task. Hu Jintao's concept of scientific development has started the reconstruction of traditional market pattern, which means the beginning exploration of socialist nature in market economy. Third, at the future stage of reform, should answer whether socialism can reconstruct market economy to realize common prosperity, which requires the docking of China reform and the law of human society development to impel the construction of perfect socialist market economy and make market operation embody the common prosperity aim.
