It is more than 100 years since the modern language education was born. In order to solve the writing problems of the mother-tongue teaching and eliminate the straits of "fewer, slower poorer and more costly" effect in language education, people have ever led the diaries and notes writing education into the field of language education to promote the students to write composition freely and effectively to improve their writing skills truly. However, people neglected to sort out and comment systematically the writing experience in the history of the diaries and notes writing;the typical cases of the diaries and notes writing education and teaching in the history of language education; the fragmentary,trivial but no shortage of real knowledge and deep insight concepts of diaries and notes writing education and teaching.so it led to the diaries and notes writing education and teaching theory in China very immature. Under the circumstances, A large numbers of Chinese teachers are active in the diaries and notes writing education and teaching, undoubtedly, their actions are spontaneous and blindness. Due to lack of systematic and scientific theory guide, the diaries and notes writing education and teaching in China has emerged all sorts of undesirable tendencies, such as regarding the diaries and notes writing as composition, making the diaries and notes writing moral education, looking on the diaries and notes writing as secret writing, forcing the students to write the diaries and notes and so on. It can be said that these tendencies are seriously deviated the nature of the diaries and notes writing already, greatly limited the value of the diaries and notes writing education and teaching to bring into full play. In order to promote the diaries and notes writing education and teaching to develop along the right and healthy track, we need to sort out and comment systematically the writing experience of the diaries and notes; the typical cases of diaries and notes writing education and teaching; the fragmentary,trivial but no shortage of real knowledge and deep insight concepts of education and teaching of diaries and notes writing in 100 years in China. We need to observe and study it under the background of the history of the diaries and notes writing and the history of theoretical development of the Chinese education. So that we can sum up the characteristic,purpose,category,the inner mechanisms of educating people of diaries and notes writing, and the guiding ideology,teaching principles,the teaching methods,the implementation ways when we carry out the diaries and notes writing education and teaching activities, and so on. In short, we must absorb experiences,draw lessons, establish the system of theory and method of the diaries and notes writing education and teaching in China,promote the contemporary diaries and notes writing education and teaching to develop from the spontaneity to the consciousness,from the blindness to the science.After studying the diaries and notes writing education and teaching of more than 100 years in China, We think that:The diaries and notes writing is a private writing,not a secret writing, the authors base on their own intelligences,experiences,self-cultivations, regard themselves as the centers, record a daily seen,heard,done,the feeling from the personal vision This is a highly personal action of writing, In return, which must promote the development of personal vision,extensive personal experience,change personal accomplishment,establish personal positions and on these foundations, establish the recognition system which bases on the personal experiences,positions,emotions,attitudes and values. By the diaries and notes writing, we can nurture students to become excellent individuality persons. At the same time, the diaries and notes writing has a strong self-education function too, which can guide people to think from the view that they join in the human social practice and guide people to think from the politics,economy,culture of the human society. In this process, the diaries and notes writing norms and drills people's individual consciousness,intuition instinct,sensitive thought,the innermost being full of nature character, thus changes the individuality person into a social person. It can be said that the fundamental value of the diaries and notes writing is promoting person to grow centrally and comprehensively.The diaries and notes writing has a wide range of positive values, but it has serious negative effects too, in order to give full play to the positive values and avoid its negative effects, under certain conditions, language teachers (or parents) can read,correct and guide the students diaries and notes writing, and it is very necessary.The diaries and notes writing is an important way to develop,train and improve students writing skills. For a long time, there are serious mistakes in our mother-tongue language writing teaching, the most serious mistake is to confuse the four concepts of "writing","article","composition","free writing" (such as the diaries and notes writing), making the object of our mother-tongue writing teaching fuzzy,the scope disorderly,the four concepts general, and these make our mother-tongue language writing teaching ineffective. I think that only when we make clear the differences of the four concepts and their respective tasks, and unite the diaries and notes writing and the composition teaching, make them divide and cooperate, can we unite person-training and writing-training together, and this can improve effectively the student's mother-tongue writing skills.In order to create a favorable environment for promoting the diaries and notes writing education and teaching to improve, From the ways of democracy,legal system,culture and other dimensions, the whole of society must create a social environment which is a free,pluralistic,tolerant and can protect fully people's private space, can respect and appreciate people's life experiences,self-worth and individual consciousness. At the same time, we must establish a writing evaluation mechanism which is non-moral,non-ideological, which can cultivate the appropriate "soil" and create a relaxed room of growth for the diaries and notes writing education and teaching to develop healthily. In specific teaching process, a large number of language teachers must also deal with the five issues, such as the object and purpose,guiding ideology,teaching principles,teaching art,writing-training in carrying out writing education and teaching activities in the diaries and notes writing.
