Historical Research On Sports Politicization

Sports can highlight the social civilization, the level of development of social productive forces of a nation or a region. Sport can be recognized as a universal culture and a natural form of language, just like religion, music and arts. People see the culture around the world through sports communication. Sports can be served as a measurement of people's cultivation and can also fully highlight the power of human beings and make people's potential be fulfilled, which makes itself a platform to show the enjoyments and happiness of life. The 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, during which a series of political events were triggered by sports, gives people a chance to think deeply about the sports and politics related problems again.This thesis conducts the investigation on the level of relevance between sports and politics. The elaboration of this thesis is carried out according to the reasons of sports politicization and historical evolution. This chapter is mainly about the relevance between sports and politics and basic concepts. The normalization of sports politicization can be explained through the analysis of internal unity between sports and politics. This part also sorts out the political concept and connotation to explain the docking level between sports and politics. The establishment of the concept "sports politicization" was accomplished through the understanding of sports politicization. The analysis was made from historical connections between sports and politics, and the social function on the point of political dimension within sports. This improves the internal consistency in "competition", "justice", "freedom", and "power" within sports and politics, thus the point of this paper, sports, originally, is political, is proposed.Chapterâ…¡:Deep mechanism and form of sports politicization. At the same time, this paper reanalyzes the theory of "origin of sports" and comes out with that hunting and original war is the direct motive of sports origin. The analysis of "Education theory" and "Game theory" on the essence of sports is conducted through the mistranslation and the filtered meaning of sports. A boundary of sports is made from the sports characteristics, social function, and other distinguishing characteristics. This paper argues that sports are well-regulated fighting, sports reveal the value of hero, and sports are symbols of political status.Chapter V:Politics and the evolution of the ancient Olympic Games. This chapter firstly analyzes the misunderstanding and significance of the research on the ancient Olympic Games, particularly the origin and historical facts of the first ancient Olympic Games, puts forward the theories on "the properties of ancient Olympic Games", and analyzes the Ekecheiria in ancient Olympic Games, which is considered ancient Olympic Games and ancient Greece to have polis political structure and properties.Chapter VI:Analysis of political reasons of the extinction of the ancient Olympic Games. This chapter describes the decline of the ancient Olympic Games and gives an analysis of the political reason of the extinction of ancient Olympic Games. This paper finds that the loss of political "identity", expansion of Barbarous character expansion, and the damage of the war accelerate the decline of the ancient Olympic Games. The loss of power gradually makes the ancient Olympic Games go to the abyss.
