The Shiqiao Disputes In The Identity, Recognition And Rights

The Dispute is a very ordinary but important part experience of interaction in village people's daily life that is always significant objective in study of legal anthropology. In Shiqiaovillage, the disputants always made comparences and classification in relations that happened on disputes. The differences between 'self' and 'other', 'ourselvies' and 'others' may be seen in this process which often related to more large process of social-history. The meaning and identity form that process are interpreted and constructed sonsistently. The relations among indentity, inentification and right are main focus of this dissertation. My purpose is to discover the diversity, complexity, and changability of culture in ShiQiaovillage. More over, new discovery from different experiences will helpful to understand relations between the nation and local, the tradition and mordenisity.Chapter I in dissertation review development of theories and methods in study disputes.
