A Study On The Foreign Trade Surplus Of China

In recent years, the issue on China's foreign trade surplus has attracted many people's attention.It has had an important impact on the development to China and the world economy, thus led to dispute of trade frictions and RMB exchange rate, and attracted domestic and foreign government and the community's attention。In this dissertation, on the basis of the Marxist economic theory, the nature of the foreign trade surplus exsited in saving the labor. The change of the balance of merchandise trade, services trade and international payments are made specific analysis. The impact to the huge foreign trade surplus of China from the economic development strategy, export-oriented strategy, industry international competitiveness and the foreign direct investment, international industrial transfer, exchange rate changes and other international factors are discussed.and analyzed The nature of China's foreign trade surplus is the result which according to China's labor force comparative advantage to integrate into the international division to become an international production network configuration.Trade surplus is like a double-edged sword. Therefore, we should take a dialectal view to China's foreign trade surplus. The dissertation gives the deliberate causes to the trade balance of Sino-US, China-EU, Sino-Japanese. China does not seek surplus but seek the overall balance of trade. To achieve trade balance requires trade and financial policies. Rationally regulating the trade surplus need to increase export structure, expand domestic demand, encourage and expand import and promote trade, develop trade regional diversity.This dissertation explores the most fundamental reason of China's trade surplus and puts forward appropriate policy proposals to develop the foreign trade in a sustained, stable and coordinated manner.
