Study Of China's Trade Surplus

Based on the analysis of China's foreign trade in 1950-2008 annual data,the thesis summed up the development of China's foreign trade and our important stages of China's foreign trade since the reform and opening. A new research topic about China's foreign trade surplus was brought up. This paper analyzed in very great detail the central question of China's foreign trade surplus.In this paper, the characteristics of China's trade surplus were analyzed from the five aspects, including commodity composition, the country composition of trade, business formation and the influx of international hot money. So it found the internal factors and external factors that the Chinese trade surplus generated.Through study on China's foreign trade, this paper proposes to reduce China's trade surplus with the strategies and suggestions, including the adjustment of fiscal policy measures and the adjustment of foreign trade policy measures. Meanwhile, this paper summed up and analyzed these specific methods and its necessities for strategies taken on China's foreign trade situations.
