Research On Risk Identification And Control Of China Resource-based Enterprises Internationalization

With the development of world and regional economic integration, more and more enterprises participate in international economic competition. Because of the strong global mineral resources demand, shortage of resources has increasingly become a bottleneck restricting China's economic development. Hence, a large number of China resource-based enterprises has entered the stage of internationalization and begin their business operations abroad. During the internationalization process, China resource-based enterprises inevitably suffer from a variety of shocks and risks resulted from difference between domestic and international environment. Therefore, risk management has increasingly become an important part of daily management of strategic decision-making. How to identify, measure, control and manage the risks of various factors has become a common concern of academic and business management. Firstly, based on internationalization theory and risk management theory, this thesis formulated international risk management theoretical framework carried out systematic analysis of risks problems which resource-based enterprises encountered in their international operations. It defined the concept of resource-based enterprises international risk, clarified the main content of risk identification, such as risk sources, risk factors, accident risk, risk loss and several other important aspects, carried out further analysis of international operation problems, and explained their characteristics and conducted mechanism analysis. And then, it also built international risk identification methods model, risk analysis framework, risk identification mechanism model, international risk factor analysis model of external factors and internal factors analytical model. Meanwhile, it undertook quantitative and qualitative analysis of international risks system, designed risk assessment index system, and used Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation (F-AHP) model to measure risk. It also took risk factors as the main variables to divide resource-based enterprises stage and discussed the risk forms and degree of various internationalization stages. Finally, based on theory and China resource-based enterprises internationalization practice, it proposed resource-based enterprises internationalization risk management countermeasures and recommendations thus to increase China resource-based enterprises international competitiveness.
