Establishing a harmonious relationship between enterprises and society is one of the major elements and important task of China's socialist harmonious establishment. The enterprises, therefore, have to give more attention and respect for the stakeholder interests. At the same time, strengthening corporate social responsibility has also been pressing to the point. Guiding enterprises to assume their social responsibility conscientiously has become a urgent needs in the harmonious socialist society's establishment. In this kind of practical context, as a researcher, should be further deepening and development the study both of stakeholder interests and their corporate social responsibility.Stakeholder Theory and Corporate Social Responsibility Research originally belonged to two separate areas. Nowadays, combination of both is an important development trend related research. This study is an empirical study based on theoretical verification. Mainly to answer the following two propositions:1. What is stakeholder interests identification between different enterprises with different characteristics?2. What is the relationship and interaction effect among stakeholder interests identification, corporate social responsibility performance and the firm performance?These two aspects are interrelated and indispensable. They form a complete theory system together.In this study, in view of three propositions above, there are a total of 8 groups and 29 series research hypothesis in two major areas based on stakeholder theory and corporate social responsibility research:1. The first series of assumptions in view of the overall enterprises and identification differences of stakeholders'interests and demands between different businesses with different characteristics. It is based on the integrative social contracts theory; to build a model of adjustment factors as for the enterprise stakeholder interests identification and demands. As a analytical framework, sort out six kinds of features as situational factors including firm size, firm life cycle, trade status, the nature of property rights, industry type and whether the companies listed.2. The second series of assumptions is directed against the relationship among stakeholder interests identification, corporate social responsibility performance and the firm performance. According to this assumption to build a theoretical model of the relationship mentioned above.In this study, questionnaire survey as the primary means of data collection. A total of 400 questionnaires were issued for enterprises, and obtain 252 valid questionnaires back. The Using SPSS, AMOS software was used for data processing, descriptive statistical analysis, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, paired-samples t test, independent sample t test, one-way ANOVA, as well as structural equation models and so on was applied for integrated. Test the theoretical model and research variable, reliability, validity as well as the research hypothesis. The results show that the entire proposed research hypothesis can be supported; the main findings are as follows:1. There are differences on the stakeholder interests identification between enterprises with different characteristics.2. The stakeholder interests identification has a direct positive effect on the corporate social responsibility performance, while the performance of corporate social responsibility will also has positive effects on the corporate task performance and contextual performance. Not only so, corporate social responsibility performance will have some role in promoting the performance by affecting the contextual performance.This study is the elaboration complement and development on stakeholder theory and corporate social responsibility research. The contribution is mainly manifested in the following areas:1. The empirical analysis of the difference to stakeholder interests identification has not appeared among different characteristics of the business in the related field both at home and abroad. It is the creative. All along, the stakeholder theory of biased norms lack of evidence. The empirical analysis in this study has significant persuasive and interpretative on stakeholder theory. It makes the stakeholder theory enhanced and improved. 2. In this study, stakeholder interests identification and the relationship between corporate social responsibility performance and corporate performance based on a same framework model reflects the combination of stakeholder theory and corporate social responsibility research. Modern management research methods and empirical methods clarify the mechanism and the interaction effect each other. Thereby, we can have a clear understanding on how the corporate achieve a unified mechanism of economic and social. This also is a contribution on knowledge development with innovative in related fields.
