The issue of Corporate social responsibility ( CSR) has received more and more recognition from both academy and business, business's concern fouce on whether CSR has negative impact on corporate pursuing profit and whether business will find balance between them, so the empirical research on the relationship between CSR and corporate performance will provide the answer.This study starts from the concept of CSR with making comprehensive retrospection and analysis of classic literature on alternative themes Corporate social performance (CSP) and Stakeholder as well as the empirical research on relationship. On the basis of summary and induction, the study will do a stakeholder orientation research and provide theoretical support for the better corporate social performance and integration of CSR with corporate strategy. This study will see the Strategic Stakeholder Management and Intrinsic Stakeholder Commitment as Direct Impact and Driving Strategy two route of CSR influencing corporate performance and constitute hypothesis and research model.Through analysis of literature, this study finds the fact that thers are less social database related with CSR in China, which provide da,ta for foreigen research. With this limit, this study brings forward multi-dimensional and multi-level CSR index in accordance with the framework of CSP, and further translate it into questionnaire answered by who take charge in corporation. The step of survey is done in collaboration with Zhejiang Enterprise Survey Team, choosing above 500 corporations as the swatch.Then the study makes analysis of factor, correlation, variances and regression on the data from questionnaire by using SPSS, classifies every variable and tests the reliability, identifies the impact of corporate scale and type on CSR and corporate performance, and finally validates the relationship between CSR and corporate performance. The result prove the hypothesis, CSR to stakeholders will improve corporate performance following the Direct Impact route, and CSR can be combined tightly with corporate strategy.
