Research On Dynamic Evolution Of Firm Growtg Routine And Business Model

As a result of the great economic success in America and Japan in the 1950s and1970s, a large numberof influential big companies hold ing the bala nces of the worldsprang up. This initiated systemic researches on Enterprise Growth Models whichtriggered enterprise reform. The innovation to information technology during the1990s brought greater impact to the enterprising world in a long term. The arrival ofnew business era dominated by information technology not only changed people'sworking style. More importantly, it renewed the patterns of enterprise growth andbusiness activities. Therefore, the terminology of Business Model has become popularas the focal point of enterprising world. The researches on enterprise growth routineand business model are carried out separately. The opinions are relativelyfragmentary.No attention had been paid to investigate the evolution and the relativerelation of these two theories from a dynamic perspective.The essentia l tention of this study is the releva nce between Enterprise GrowthPath and Business Model and the dynamic evolutions of the two. First, this paragraphpropose the concept of enterprise growth and the characteriza tions of enterprisegrowth, then sum up the different opinions of enterprise growth theories and put theminto four different categeries.We also propose the concept of business model and thecharacteriza tions of it. Secondly,our research target covers a large number of bigcompanies around the world, including some well-known companies selected fromFortune 500 list, Industria l 100 from British, France and Germa ny and somesuccessful companies from China including companies listed in the Growth EnterpriseMarket (GEM). Based on a large number of empirica l studies, we constructedtheoretica l business models which indica ted scientific Enterprise Growth Path andtheir influencing factors based on the elaborate analysis of different enterprise growthpaths. We concluded from the research value proposal, value acquisition and profitmodel at different stages in the enterpris growth process. We also illustrated thedifferences and evolution of value proposal, value acquisition and profit model ofdifferent growth paths.In the end, we study the dynamic evolution of the businessmodel based on the different enterprise growth path. Taking Mintaia n InsuranceAssessor company ,three large petroleum companies,IBM and GE for example, we make an empirica l study.The innovative works of this research are the combine of Enterprise Growth Pathand Business Model and the dynamic researches on the enterprise growth routines andbusiness models. The innovative works also include classification of enterprisegrowth opinions , the analysis of the influencing factors on enterprise growth andthe struction of the theoretica l business models.
