| Strategy has been the fundamental factor for enterprises to win success in thenew economic era. In the era of super-competition when information economy andinternet economy has taken the leading role, the competition environment isbecoming more and more dynamic. Along with the increase of variousundeterminable factors, enterprise management is turning from process managementto strategy management. Enterprises have been trying to formulate and implement aneffective strategy, which could enable the enterprises to make full use of their ownadvantages and give quick response to intense changes of the environment as well.This paper, under the value equilibrium theory, makes an intensive study anddiscuss on five critical elements of designing the effective enterprise strategy bycombining the theory of the positioning school and the theory of the modern resourceschool, with consideration of the latest progress made in modern enterprise theoriesand strategic management theories.Based on the background of this research and the state of art of the researchprogress home and abroad and its real signification, this paper makes a generalreview of the development of the enterprise strategy theories;and explores themeaning, special property, evaluation criteria of the effective enterprise strategy. Aframe for strategic effectiveness space consisted of three-dimension coordinate onthe industrial advantage and competitive advantage and strategic advantage, and themethods applying dynamic critical elements 5R model to perform strategic choiceare expatiated. The criteria and methods for the overall evaluation of the effectiveenterprise strategy are introduced. The paper gives a detailed study on the fivecritical elements of designing the effective enterprise strategy: "cognitive of decisionmakers of the enterprise", "capability matching", "resource reorganization","competitive collaboration" and "dynamic creation". In the last part, the ChinaInternational Marine Container (Group) Co., Ltd., the only internationalmanufacturer of marine containers of all types, the world leading enterprise ofmarine containers for 8 successive years, whose market share amounts to 40% of thewhole world, is cited as an example for discussion. The five critical elements ofdesigning the effective enterprise strategy are respectively analyzed for verification. |
