Instant Customization (IC) production model is a brand-new production model which is developed on the basis of mass customization production models. It emphasizes using low cost instantly or fleetly in order to satisfy client's individual demand. However, that changing traditional production models into instant customization production model needs two aspects. On the one hand, it stipulates modern computer network technology, production technology and modern management theory and methods as supported conditions. On the other hand, it needs corporations carry out in-depth changeover and innovation on organizational structure, operation flow, management concept, management model and so on. This dissertation researches into the production and inventory of instant customization production model that involves in many contents. This dissertation relies on the projects of national natural science fund (70332011)-"the research on new technologies and new methods of operations management based on time competition"and national natural science fund (70472059)-"the research on degenerative production and inventory models and integrate models of short lifecycle production". It uses some theories and methods as tools, such as management, production and operations management, cybernetics, systematology, operations research and so on, and takes thinking based on time competition as axial cord to research into some theories and methods of instant customization production model. Firstly, the dissertation sets up the total operation framework of instant customization production model and concludes the main characteristics of it, which is based on analyzing the localization of the concept of the traditional production models. Secondly, it analyzes characteristics and development current of today market requirement and associates with it to analyze the localization of the concept of the traditional corporation production capacity. It also proposes the concept of instant customization corporation's throughout, and analyzes the characteristics of it. Moreover, it expatiates the achieve mechanism of it from strategic lay and tactic lay, and advances the double circulations of it. Thirdly, it does some research on strategy of the product delivery time under the instant customization production model. Under the instant customization production model, the length of product delivery time not only depends on manufacture ability of manufacture enterprise, but also depends on supply ability of provider. The dissertation sets up the mathematic model of instant product delivery time in IC environment, educes the economic delivery time of products, and advances the strategy of instant customization corporation's product delivery time. At the same time, it also analyzes the factors which effect the economic delivery time in Instant Customerization , and advances the measures which can shorten the economic delivery time of products. Fourthly, the dissertation overviews the researches in domestic and overseas about production and inventory models for perishable items, analyzes new characteristics of production and inventory models under instant customization production model, and explains the localizations of traditional production and inventory models. The dissertation founds degenerative production and inventory models about short lifecycle production (components and modules) in Instant Customization. In these production and inventory models, we partitions off production perishable rate to physical perishable rate and immateriality perishable rate, establishes corresponding production and inventory models respectively, educes the formula of optimized accurate dispel of production and inventory strategy, and does example account and sensitivity analysis. Fifthly, the dissertation makes the idea of production smoothing into production input-output planning model, uses the theory and method of cyclic scheduling, considers product'manufactured time and assembled time, then, sets up the level production model, and proposes the optimal algorithms. By using this model, we can optimize the products'input or output plan. Meanwhile, we can achieve production process smoothing by means of mixing flux to satisfy customer diversification and individuation demands quickly. Finally, the dissertation is summarized, and some problems are proposed, which should be researched further.
