At the present time, economic modernization shows national or regional features as well as interaction between economic development of some nation or region and that of whole world. When the time between â…¡ world war and 1990's, the Middle East's economic modernization showed some characters such as dependent in economic relation, unitary and fragile in economic structure, and sudden and fluctuate in developing path, dividing into pieces and keeping unbalance in industries. Technology, oil, war, nationalism, national intervention and Islam are the key factors which have important influence on all models above.The change and falling into pattern of globalization times and the forming of the tradition development model of the Middle East's economic modernization all keep in close contact with their history before. In history, international economic interaction of Middle East went through five phrases, which are attempt of contact in early stage, expansionism contact, leaded by European, the inequitable contact controlled by European, and overall contact facing the whole world.
