With economic globalization and regional economic integration,East Asia are also joined into the integration process. Although the concept of economic integration in East Asia produced a long time ago, the progress is slower than EU and North America. Until now a cooperative mechanism for the unity of the whole region hasn't formed. And development of economic cooperation in East Asia is uneven。In order to maintain their international market competitiveness, every country in East Asia needs to strengthen cooperation. East Asian economic integration can bring direct benefits to Member States on financial stability, infrastructure, information technology, communication and agricultural. China and Japan are major countries in East Asia, East Asia's economic development not only directly related to Sino-Japanese economic development, but also related to long-term development potential between China and Japan.China and Japan are East Asia's two core powers. Economic development need to rely on East Asia, while East Asian economic integration needs cooperation between China and Japan. China and Japan should play a greater role in the East Asian economic integration. China has been actively involved in East Asian economic cooperation, taking on more responsibility. Japan also actively "return to Asia", emphasis on East Asian regional economic cooperation. The same objective of China and Japan is promoting the process of economic integration in East Asia, however, due to various reasons; there are various contradictions and conflicts between China and Japan. Currently, China and Japan becoming increasingly dependent on each other. China and Japan should follow the example of France and Germany, with the mentality of tolerance and patience to strengthen cooperation. Chinese and Japanese and peoples of other East Asia countries hope the two countries can sincerely cooperation, to bring contribution to economic integration in East Asia.In this paper, I analyze East Asian economic integration based on the theory of regional economic integration, mainly through analyzing the status of the relationship between China and Japan (mainly economic and trade relations),and study the role and status of the two countries in the East Asian economic integration process.The first chapter describes the integration of relevant theory and the type of regional economic integration; Chapter 2 analyzes the East Asian economic integration process and the status. Chapters 3 and 4 are the main parts of this article. The third chapter study their own performance, position, role, and problems in economic integration in East Asia. The fourth chapter analyzes the close ties between China and Japan from the mutual trade and mutual investment, and ODA to China. Also analyze the contradictions between China and Japan from competition of both trade and monetary, describing the underlying factors of Sino-Japanese economic cooperation constraints. Finally, the paper analyzes the Sino-Japanese cooperation on the significance of economic integration in East Asia and put forward proposals to enhance Sino-Japanese cooperation in practical measures.
