The middle part of china occupies important position in the regional economic development. But since 1978, with the implementation of the remembrance of the modernization paces in the eastern coastal area and national strategy to develop western regions, the economic development of middle part lags behind relatively, which not only tamper with the improvement of standard of living of the middle part of china, but also restrict the economic growth of all china. So the central government brings forward the strategic goal to accelerate the economic growth of the middle part of china.There are many issues on the cause of "collapse in the middle part of china". From different angles, scholars come up with different results. It must be emphasized that the phenomenon of "collapse in the middle part of china" is only a phenomena of the formation and evolution of economic difference among different districts, so this article first come up with a theoretic frame as follows: the formation and development of industry structure is determined by its resources and system. Different resources and system lead to different industry structure, and the latter lead to different phase of economic development.Next this article scrutinizes and analyses historically the flux process of economic differences among different districts in china, and present the trend of the elements that influence economic differences. (1) The effects of institution on economic differences have been declining. (2) Resource advantage influence economic differences basically, but as the district economic develops the effects is declining. (3) The effects of endocentric comparative advantage have been ascending. So in order to dwindle the economic differences among different districts, the government should advert its attention to endocentric comparative advantage.Is the economic structure of the middle part consistent with its comparative advantage? Is this kind of consistency beneficial to accelerate the economic growth of the middle part? If it isn't, what choice should be made?
