On the theoretical basis of the scientific development conception, this dissertation, first of all, gives an analysis and research on theories of sustainable development and macro-economic control, based upon which the novel theory of macro-economic control policy-making system for sustainable development has been produced by the author. Through the empirical analysis on the macro-economic control policy-making systems for sustainable development in America, Canada, Japan, and France, the dissertation, then, has come to a conclusion that the realization of sustainable development in these countries, to some certain extent, owes much to their own distinct macro-economic control policy-making systems for sustainable development. Moreover, the dissertation has gone to great lengths to explore and provide some practicable solutions to the major problems facing China's macro-economic development on the basis of the overall study concerning the positive practice of the macro-economic control policy-making system in China. Finally, it has produced a novel theory of establishing and gradually further polishing in the future a macro-economic control policy-making system for sustainable development with Chinese characteristics by drawing the experience and lessons from those developed countries, which is somewhat a breakthrough in this dissertation.This dissertation is composed of three sections or fifteen chapters.Chapter One Introduction This chapter provides certain information on the background, the goal, and both the theoretical and practical importance of this research, which has much to do with the inconspicuous philosophic development revolution for the time being in China.Section One On Theory This section consists of chapter two, three and four.
