Theoretical And Diagnostic Research On The Construction Of Eco-Industrial System (EIS)

Since 20th century, the economy has grown greatly accelerated by the high speeddevelopment of science and technology-in 100 years of the 20th century, thematerial wealth created by mankind sum out of that in the past. However, this growth pattern is characterized by high investment growth, high consumption support and high emission maintenance. If this kind of growth way continues, not only the economical growth would be influenced by the restriction of resources shortage and the environment capacity, ecology security of the entire humanity would be threatened because of the weaken of ecology capacity. How to solve the contradictions of resources, environment and the rapid economic growth are common challenges for human society.Under this background, only by establishing this new development idea andusing new economical development model-Eco-Industrial System (EIS), ourdifficult position can be fundamentally solved, our sustainable path of economic effectiveness, low environmental pollution, low energy consumption and social concordance could be guaranteed.This dissertation is divided into ten chapters.The first chapter presents the goal and significance of the study and review and narrates the narration the current research situation of domestic and foreign ecologic industry. Based on this, the research contents and methods are proposed. The key issue and innovation are summarized.The second chapter is the theory foundation of EIS research. Through the review of the industrial ecology theory, the ecology theory, the system science theory and the sustainable development theory the corresponding theory structure is constructed for the further research of EIS.The third chapter introduces the structure, characteristics and functions of EIS. The connotation and features of EIS are analyzed. The structure of this system is analyzed through the system essential factors and its coupling.
