Research On Some Problems Of The Manufacturing Structural Homogeneity In Delta Area Of Yangtze

Since the reform and opening of China and the development of Pudong New Area, the economy has being grown quickly in Delta Area of Yangtze. At the same time, because of the geographic proximity and the similarity of industries between subareas, the problem of the manufacturing structural homogeneity in the area becomes a focus. However, the problem has not been investigated. Structural homogeneity measures have not been analyzed and evaluated. Embedded empirical study on the manufacturing structural homogeneity in Delta Area of Yangtze has not been carried out. The degree and direction of influence of some factors on the manufacturing structural homogeneity are not clear yet. Above three questions are the topics of the dissertation.The methods, indexes and data used to measure structural homogeneity of manufacturing are chosen based on comparison analysis,which is the basis of the dissertation. Under the condition of subdivision of industry and area, the degree of structural homogeneity of manufacturing in Delta Area of Yangtze were measured.The trends and status of the degree of structural homogeneity of manufacturing in Delta Area of Yangtze were made clear. Based on time series analytic technology, regression analysis and correlative analysis, the influence of internationalization on the manufacturing structure homogeneity was measured, the correlations between the manufacturing structure upgrading, factor mobility, merchandise mobility and the manufacturing structure homogeneity in Delta Area of Yangtze were analyzed. The relation between the structural convergence of manufacturing and the convergence of economic growth in Delta Area of Yangtze was analyzed.Results indicats that structural superposition index is a rational approach to measure the degree of structural homogeneity of manufacturing. Types of indexes and datum have little influence on the degree of structural superposition of manufacturing. Based on the degree of structural homogeneity is greater than the degree of work division or not, a benchmark value that can measure the degree of structural homogeneity of manufacturing between two areas was work out. The study results also show that, under the condition of subdivision of industry, the degree of structural homogeneity of manufacturing in Delta Area of Yangtze was not always descended.
