Research On The Convergence Of China’s Tourism Industry Based On Perspective Of Industrial Division

Since30years’ reform and opening up, the tourism industry of China has developedrapidly and made great achievements, playing an increasingly more and moreimportant role in the national economy and the world stage. But with the worldinternational degree deepening and uncertain factors about the world tourismdevelopment increasing, China’s tourism industry is facing greater pressure andchallenge, specially an urgent need to adjust structure and upgrading. While theconvergence of China’s tourism industry is one of the major entry points to achieve itsadjusting and upgrading. So this paper has a certain theoretical significance, but alsooffers some practical value for the convergence of China’s tourism industry.This paper used some analysis methods such as literature research, induction anddeduction, qualitative research and so on, at first reviewed and summarized currentdomestic and foreign research on the convergence of tourism industry, found out thatthere is no complete theoretical system established, and analyzed the background ofChina’s tourism industry development, made clear its great significance to China’stourism transforming development. Then from the perspective of industrial division,based on the system theory, computational advantage theory and value chain theory,analyzed the internal mechanism and the external influence factors of the convergenceof tourism industry, and further analyzed its methods and path. Then based on theanalysis of initial conditions about the convergence of tourism industry, proposedfour convergence models and development strategies. Finally selected Kuanchengtourism area as a case to study, analyzed its development background of theconvergence of tourism industry, summed up its path, models and relevant relatedmeasures to promote the convergence of Kuancheng tourism area.This paper will enrich and perfect current domestic research on the convergence oftourism industry, making it more comprehensive and system, at the same time theproposed convergence path, method, models and development strategy will providepractical values to the development of the convergence of China’s tourism industry.
