Social Capital is the most influential theoretical concept derived from the New Economic Sociology. And it has become a hot problem and an important starting point of analysis. Social Capital is not only the basic factor throughout the process of economic function and management structure, but also a source of influence to the contemporary society in many ways. It is an indispensable factor to the enterprise development and a capital promoting the competitive power of the company in the Cyber times. Since social capital and social structure are inseparable to each other, this thesis, in terms of social structure, attempt to offer an analysis frame for the study of social capital of enterprises.The whole paper is developed into 9 chapters. Chapterl is Introduction. The main purpose of chapterl is to introduce the background and significance of the paper.Chapter2 is a General Review of the Theoretical History of Social Capital. Through a logical summary, analysis and comment of the researches of social capital theory done home and abroad, the author finds out the unsatisfying points and make a further attempt at the study of social capital theory. Western research social capital theory, can be divided into three stages among which the initial one is represented by Bourdieu's study of social capital theory; Developmental Stage, including Colman's general study of social capital and micro study of social network to social capital; and its Expansion to other fields. However, the study of social capital is still at the beginning point in China. Generally speaking, the study of social capital is at an immature level.Chapter3 is Analysis of the Intension of Social Capital. The analysis point of Chapter3 is the interrelationship between social capital and other capital forms. In terms of the developmental process from material capital to social capital, the author draws a conclusion of a developmental law of capital theory, i.e., it is consistent with the developmental tendency of management theory.
