Social capital is defined as the advantage created by a person's location in a structure of relationships. It explains how some people gain more success in a particular setting through their superior connections to other people. The background for social capital could be anything that brings two people to establish mutual dependant interrelations where one feels connected or obliged to help and promote the other. Guanxi is a central concept in Chinese society and describes, in part, a personal connection between two people in which one is able to prevail upon another to perform a favor or service, or be prevailed upon.The author introduced the Guanxi context for social capital into social networks and mainly discussed the organizational interpersonal behaviors. The focus is the association of the emotional interaction, interpersonal trust and work support.With the data from 22 sectors of a high-tech company in the Mainland, we tested three hypotheses proposed and found they are supported.For the individual actor, the high degree centrality of emotion network will bring the high degree centrality of trust network, which means emotional interaction can enhance interpersonal trust; the high degree centrality of trust network will bring the high degree centrality of advice network, which means interpersonal trust can enhance work support; the high degree centrality of emotion network will bring the high degree centrality of advice network, which means emotional interaction can enhance work support.
