Enterprises have to meet drastic competition coming from the world wide because of globalization and Chinese economic development. And pure competitive (or cooperative) strategies cannot be enterprises' best choice anymore under such complicated circumstance. The relationships of enterprises and suppliers, buyers, partners and complementors, have evolved into co-opetitive games. Any strategic choices will influence enterprise's performance and advantage. But many studies are focusing on only one aspect, competition or cooperation, which cannot direct enterprise's strategic choice effectively. Current studies about the relationship of enterprise's co-opetitive choice and performance, also focus on theoretical and qualitative analysis, and cannot know co-opetitive action connotation deeply. Moreover, there is little systemic empirical study about the proposition, 'How different choice of co-opetitive strategies will influence enterprise's performance'.Based on plentiful analysis of competitive, cooperative and co-opetitive literatures, this paper opens up the concept of co-opetition, and brings forward 'co-opetitive basic state matrix' and 'co-opetitive planar constitution map' to remedy current limitation of one dimension hypothesis of co-opetition research and solve the conflict of competition and cooperation. After analyzed enterprise's co-opetitive partners, we put forward 'enterprise's co-opetitive partners' frame' and analyses the co-opetitive relationships of nuclear enterprise and supplier, customer, partner and complementor. Based on these three models, we advance two basic hypotheses about the relationships of enterprises' cooperative, co-opetitive actions and corresponding performance. These two basic hypotheses are decomposed into twelve more specific hypotheses, which constitute hypotheses system of empirical study. In empirical parts, Chinese textile printing and dyeing industry is choiced as empirical object. We check up all of hypotheses through correlations, regression and test. Most of specific hypotheses are verified, which supports two basic hypotheses powerfully. This paper also analyses all the hypotheses deeply, including the verified and those not verified, and applies these verified hypotheses into enterprise's strategic choice. This paper also has its limitation, and needs develop further in the future.
