With the globalization of world politics and economy, competitiveness becomes a hotspot which both academic and business communities are concerned. The development of the country, the advancement of the industry and the spurt of the enterprises are inevitably connected with competitiveness. Gaining sustainable competitiveness becomes ideal model of enterprises in seeking development. But People can not help asking what the ultimate force of sustainable competitiveness is while in seeking development. American famous strategy management experts C·K·Prahalad and Gary Hamel brought forward the concept of core competitiveness in the Nineties of the Twentieth Century. They believed that the core competitiveness of the enterprises was the accumulate knowledge of organizations, for the sort term, the quality and function of product decided the competitiveness, but in the long run, it was the core competitiveness that took the decisive and leading position. Therefore, these questions that which factors composed the core competitiveness? Which factors influent the competitiveness? And what is the relationship between enterprises difference and these factors? Are all seems very important.Tourism enterprises, typical service enterprises, will face fierce competition when service trade protections of WTO lift a ban. How to create and how to keep competitive advantages become the key problems which need to solve as soon as possible in the future's heated international competition. Because of particularity of products, the core competitiveness of tourism enterprises show different characteristics on component and influence factors, however, the core competitiveness theory can not perfect explain the core competitiveness of service-type enterprises, especially tourism enterprises, since established and developed based on study of manufacturing industry. For example, the significance of technical innovation's ability in manufacturing enterprises is much greater than in tourism enterprises, and the core competitiveness of tourism enterprises are mainly demand on service ability, planning ability and enterprise culture and so on. The purpose of this paper is to explore the features of core competitiveness of the service-type of enterprises by analyzing the component and influence factors of the core competitiveness tourism enterprises, make Chinese tourism enterprises to have a better understudying of core competitiveness theory, take theoretical reference and practice guidance in order to promote Chinese tourism enterprises' core competitiveness in the end.The paper regards Chinese tourism enterprise as the research subjects and the component and influence factors as its basic point of study. First, the paper reviewed the general theories of core competitiveness, summarized academic cognitions on tourism enterprises' core competitiveness and then build up the basic theoretical framework of the core competitiveness of tourism enterprises, elaborated its concept, connotation, characteristics and function and so on. Second, by value chain analyses and empirical research, the paper emphasized that core competitiveness of tourism enterprises consist of four factors, service ability, planning ability, corporate culture and integration ability, and then demonstrates the relationship of each factor, the paper hold that ability of planning is the soul and key point of all these factors. Meanwhile the paper analysis the influence factors of core competitiveness of tourism enterprises such as resources, diversity, relevant industry and so on, and than set up a concise model of tourism enterprises' core competitiveness. Finally, the paper systemically analyzed the current situation of the core competitiveness of tourism enterprises in China, meanwhile, put forward the Countermeasures on how to promote the core competitiveness of Chinese tourism enterprises according to the high light of the paper, in order to enhance core competitiveness, now Chinese tourism enterprise should start from cultivating service ability, planning ability, enterprises culture and integration ability, especially emphasize the planning ability. To build up core competitiveness will bring some new opportunities to the future development of Chinese tourism enterprises from a new visual angel of planning ability.
