On The Index System And Approach Of Comprehensive Evaluation On Performance Of Insurance Companies In China

For the purpose of evaluating the management state of China's Insurance Company, we tried to establish a set of evaluation Index for insurance management, from a view which differ from Supervisor and Rating Company. As China's insurance industry is booming, it's manage getting more complicated. Through financial strength evaluation, organization performance evaluation, corporate governance evaluation to the insurance management, the article made efforts to establish integrative evaluation system. As we know, management state always embodiment by achievement. Therefore the three evaluate aspect has consistency inherently. After put forward those aspects, we tried to integrate those aspect into companies'management. Furthermore, we integrated the three aspect to its performance as the basic theory of our appraise system.For the purpose of establishing the evaluate index system, the research not only needs a set of theory bases, but also needs suitable methods. Therefore, based on the theories, the article combined China's reality with the theory and integrated appraise theories. From this approach, we found a logical coherence between those theories and reality. From this integrative mode, this article used maximum irrelevance method, component analysis method, data envelopment analysis method, distance component evaluation method, classify appraise method and other econometric methods. By comparing those methods, we established a set of index system, and made an appraise model.Within our insurance market's grown up, our insurance management standard will get better. China's insurance company has great market potential, and it would get higher growth rate. Insurance companies need to attach importance to the system construction. Therefore, we consider system construction as the important aspect; this will enhance our insurance management. And we also need to improve our inside control system, reform our corporate management and so on. All of those factors are the necessarily ways to improve management for China's insurance companies.
