The manufacturing industry is the largest industrial system, the best developed and the highest professionally industrial group, and the most important part of the second industry and even of the national economy. Obviously, the manufacturing industry is the underpinning of the development of the national economy, the significant source of the national economical income; Economical competition among the countries around the world is the competition of the manufacturing technology. At the same time, the manufacturing industry is also the transforming-medium of technology. In recent years, with the development of the micro-technology, such as the computer and internet, traditional manufacturing technology has been transforming into advanced-technology, the manufacturing industry has been promoted greatly, executing important influence on the world economy.With the development of globalization and the quick progress of technology, the environment and rules of the competition among businesses are also changing. For Chinese manufacturing industry, there are many chances and great pressures as well. The Chinese manufacturing enterprises are accompanied with the characteristics of small scale, weak central competitive ability, inflexible and slowly-responsive management model in institutional arrangement, production display, technological equipment and human capacity. The future market, however, will be depending on the increasingly consumptive environment, and consumer behavior will be pickier, and the market has the constantly changing and unpredictable characteristics. Since the indeterminacy of the market changes has been increasing, the management model adaptive to the customs'demands and responsives has become the crucial factor by which the survival capacity and the competitive advantage are to be measured.In addition to introduction, the dissertation is divided into five parts:Partâ… : Theoretical Generalization. Theories of the relationship marketing, the competitive advantages of enterprises, the industry group, and the business institutional structure are used to structure the model of manufacturing management. The developmental trends of the manufacturing industry and the market features are also analyzed, revealing the necessity of the custom-centered management. The central idea of the model of manufacturing Management is explained, claiming that the essence of the model of manufacturing management is the inclusion of customs into the resources category, the treatment of products (and services), business process, and the internal institutional arrangement as the three underpinnings of enterprise management, and the realization of the coordinated management on the base of the custom-center systemPartâ…¡: Custom-Centered Products and Services. Firstly, enterprises must research consumers'behavior, analyze value of consumers, structure the"pyramid of customs", having customs make profits for the enterprises as much as possible. Secondly, enterprises must pay attention to the personal demands of customs, promote the dynamic management of custom relationships, so that enterprise could have more survival spaces and more opportunities. Finally, enterprises could realize the interacting management between enterprises and customs by the way of analyzing expectancy of customs'and products', making responding strategies according to the developmental stage of enterprises themselves.Partâ…¢: Restructure of the Custom-Centered Business Process. This part introduces application of the Business Process Reengineering, Enterprise Resources Planning, Supply Chain Management, and Supply Chain Alliance in enterprises, accounts the importance of the business process restructuring. It is also noted that enterprises, in the business process restructuring, must control and prevent effectively the potential risks, such as credit-related risks, risks of information, and the fiscal risk.Partâ…£: Internal Institution Arrangement of Custom-centered Mode. Enterprises must make responding institutional arrangements in the structure of the share-rights, the institutional deploy, the human resources, and the enterprise's culture. With regard to the structure of the share-rights, the decentralized and pluralized model will be the best choice if products of the enterprise aim to the ultimate consumers; On the contrary, the relative centralized model, and even the mono-shareholder company will be preferred if the non-ultimate consumers are targets. As for the institutional structure, enterprises can choose the best model according to their different developmental stages. With the human resources, the strategic management should be used to realize the sustainable development. As for the enterprise's culture, the learning culture has to be built to realize finally the custom- centered business culture.Partâ…¤: Case Analysis. With the background that a public cooperation intends to merge a company that has a long history of more than one hundred years, the reform measures taken by the two businesses respectively in the face of crisis and their different consequences are compared and analyzed. It is further attested that, under the current circumstances, only through the custom-centered management model could enterprises enhance their competitive capacity, and finally realized sustainable development.
