Research On Knowledge Spillover And Enterprise Learning In Industry Cluster

Since 1980s social economic organization shows a development trend of network. Especially with the rapid development of internet, network organization is becoming the new type which exceeds the traditional one that separates market and enterprise. Meanwhile the function of industrial in cluster is more evident than in the traditional times. Academics have carried out a lot of theoretical and empirical studies of industrial clusters. At present, researches on industrial clusters focus more on the development of industries and regions, industrial distribution, technological innovation, regional industrial development, the competitiveness of cluster etc., than on micro-level systematic studies of the enterprise learning mechanism. Enterprises learning can bring enterprise and industrial clusters competitiveness and create new advantages, promoting the growth and development of clusters. To facilitate and promote the formation and development of learning in industrial clusters would maintain its competitive advantages. Therefore, it is a serious issue for the clusters of enterprises, institutions, policy makers at all levels to enhance the competitive ability of the clusters through industrial clusters learning, and dynamically respond to these internal contradictions and external threats in order to ensure sustainable development.This paper summarizes and analyzes relevant literatures, and explains the connotation of knowledge overflow, its features, evolutionary process, production function, path and the learning mechanism, based on the enterprises learning in cluster. On this basis, further research on enterprises learning mechanism in the industrial cluster are carried out before the theoretical framework of enterprise learning facing the knowledge spillover is put forward. The research shows that the knowledge spillover, learning ability, motivation and the coordination between learning process and cluster development are the important conditions for learning effect. The elements that affect learning relationship include knowledge overflow carrier, the enterprise's ability to learn, dynamic mechanism, the learning process and learning effects. Through establishing the model of clusters of knowledge overflow with the concept of enterprise learning, the paper analyzes the specific correlation between variables on the basis of theoretical logic, and bring forward assumptions of further study. At last, based on the studies of Dalian Software Park software industry clusters and Dalian High-Tech Industrial Park IT industry clusters, the paper empirically analyzes the factors that affect enterprises learning in cluster. The paper concludes that industrial cluster is the unity of an open system and the professional division, and that the open system is conducive to raising the division and to deepening the specialization. In industrial clusters, enterprises are mainly committed to the development of enterprise core competencies and they use knowledge spillover and cluster network to access the relevant knowledge to form the dynamic learning process between enterprises in the industrial clusters. This paper researches the industry cluster study of the enterprise learning problems mainly from the perspective of knowledge spillover in theory, methods, applications levels: in theory level, the paper describes knowledge conduction path, and analyses the enterprise learning mechanism, cause and process in the industrial clusters, and discusses the relation between knowledge spillover and enterprise learning ability, and reveals the corresponding factors about enterprise learning ability; in the method level, the paper applies structured methods to the explanation of enterprise learning ability and the learning performance from the three-dimensional frame of the knowledge spillover effect, learning dynamic mechanism, and the learning process, so as to build an enterprise learning model for knowledge spillover, under the combination of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis and the combination of the theoretical research and empirical studies; in the application level, the paper designs the questionnaire and does the enterprise research according to the theoretical framework and the quantitative model, using software SPSS13.0 to establish an database of effective data samples. Furthermore, the paper uses descriptive statistical analysis, correlation analysis, factor analysis, regression analysis, and other methods to pick out the affecting enterprise learning factors in the industrial cluster, and the main results and conclusions of the thesis can be the basis and reference to the development of the enterprise learning path in industrial clusters strategic planning and action programs.
