Science And Technology Park Management Research

Science & Technology Park (S&T Park) is the great pioneering work in the industrialization of science and technology in the 20^th century. With the success of Silicon Valley and Route 128 of the US, all countries around the world threw themselves into constructing S&T Park, which has been lasting till now. From 1980s, China has also energetically constructed S&T Park for developing high-tech industries, and has achieved great success after 20 years of development. This thesis analyzes and discusses the origin, development, successful experience, future vision and problems of S&T Park, in an effort to provide some useful references for the healthy development and further "going-out" of China's S&T Park.Oriental management is the treasure of China's management culture, which has obtained more and more attention from the international management scholars. This thesis focuses on "One Theme" (S&T Park managementstudy--exploration of the integrated development of oriental and westernmanagement) , integrates "Two Studies" (study on S&T Park management and the integrated development of oriental and western management development), highlights "Three Concepts" (the concept of people-orientation, harmony and development). On the basis of comparing and analyzing the domestic and international S&T Park in terms of human resources management, comprehensive services, management philosophy, management mode, development planning, and strategies, the thesis proposes "Three Implementations" (implementing the concepts of people-oriented services, harmonious management and scientific development), and some innovative contents including "structure model of S&T Park open-styled independent innovation", "S&T Park evaluation index systems" and the construction of the China-UK co-developed "Shanghai Business Park". The thesis also provides some suggestions for the further development of China's S&T Park, exploring a new way of development for S&T Park with the management theory from both east and west and with Chinese characteristics.
