Nowadays, with faster economical globalization, more intense market competition, the stress of competition with which enterprises are confronted has been getting bigger and bigger. It is an unceasing research topic of management area for enterprise how to exist, develop and make profit under such a competition environment.Product value is the source of enterprise's fortune. Enterprise provides the customers with their products and services to meet their needs of existence and development. Now enterprise's product lifecycle has been becoming shorter than before with more intense market competition and more innovation of product and technology. With the establishment of market economic system and return of enterprise's right of independent decision-making, it becomes the core measure and affects directly the enterprise's healthy and sustainable development to study Product Overall Lifecycle, Product Lifecycle and product value creation, product value delivery, product value transfer and product value extension so as to make decisions of product design, delivery, transfer, extension, etc. so that enterprise can realize accumulative product value maximum and the accumulative product cost minimum based on all stages of product lifecycle to achieve enterprise's management objective of income maximum, which is the stand and start of this study.The experts concerning this theme at home and abroad have studied product lifecycle and its management from the different angles of view as well as the relevant theories on value from the different lays. Nevertheless, all these studies on value and product lifecycle in the world involved only one aspect such as product value of single enterprise, product value of one stage of product lifecycle, product cost on product lifecycle, enterprise's value from the angle view of enterprise financial management, and so on. But there is no research on overall product value based on product lifecycle. Therefore this study has theoretical and practical significance.This dissertation studies by the numbers the theories and methods of product value creation, delivery, transfer and extension based on product lifecycle, which regards the theories of Value Engineering, Value Chain, System Science, Economics as theoretical basis and regards Activity based Cost, Target Costing, Analytic Hierarchy Process, Workflow Technology and Law of Entropy Right as methodology basis, integrates modern information technology and management integration technology.This dissertation includes eight chapters.Chapter One sets forth the objective and significance of this study, summarizes all the relevant research on this theme, introduces the contents, methods and framework of this study.Chapter Two expatiates the theoretical basis of this study: value and product lifecycle theories including the meanings of value, product value, and product value based on product lifecycle and product value chain and the calculation formulation of product value.Chapter Three mainly studies value creation mechanism based on Labor Value Theory, Capital Value Theory and Client Value Theory and driving factors of product value creation from the angle of view of product enterprise value and product customer value.Chapter Four examines product value creation based on product lifecycle including the meanings, contents and influencing factors of value creation, Sensitivity Analysis on value creation and strategies of product value creation based on different stages of product lifecycle.Chapter Five proposes product value delivery, transfer and extension based on product lifecycle including the meanings of product value delivery, transfer and extension based on product lifecycle, characteristic analysis of value flows based on product lifecycle, the strategies of product value delivery, transfer and extension based on product lifecycle based on integration of Workflow Technology, Target Costing and Analytic Hierarchy Process.Chapter Six studies product value evaluation and decision-making based on product lifecycle, which mainly establishes evaluation and decision-making models using Law of Entropy Right, including establishes decision-making model of product design project, manufacture project, pricing project, multiple structure distributing of product over all stages based on product lifecycle.Chapter Seven is case study. This chapter puts Dongfeng Automobile Ltd. as an example, makes the decision of product manufacture project using Law of Entropy Right, analyzes the problems of product value management of this corporation and provides the improving measures.Chapter Eight summarizes this study, elicits the conclusion, sets forth the innovation points of view, analyzes the limitation of this study, and points the problems to be studied in the future.
