The theories of the agricultural surplus labors migration are tremendous, such as the Lewis-Fei-Ranis classic model, Jorgenson's and Todaro's neoclassic models, and Rakshit's Keynesian model, in which researchers fully and carefully analyze the socioeconomic effect of labor migration on the destination areas. However, the attention to the communities from which workers leave is little. Consequently, the ignored areas are focused on and the influence of the migration on the rural communities is thoroughly explored. Since our country is a big agricultural country still, the"Three Rural"issue is paid close attention to by our government. The importance of the rural surplus transfer is above all other problems, which is related to the accelerating of urbanization process in our country, the realization of the modern agriculture, the new-rural-community construction and the harmony and stability of our country. In a long period there are surplus labors who will continue migrating in the countryside still, which will have profound influence on the rural. Therefore, it is essential to research on these areas. The theoretic and empirical analysis methods are used. In the part of the theoretic analysis, some existing researches are directly used for reference or developed, and some theoretic models and frames are originally established. The empirical researches of this dissertation use the econometric methods which data was collected from Jingzhou, Xiantao and Qianjiang in Hubei province in June last year. The socioeconomic effects of surplus labor migration on the rural are analyzed from six aspects which are (â…°)labor transfer and peasant household's time allocation, (â…±)labor migration, land adjustment and land transfer, (â…²)the research of the migrant's remittance, (â…³)the ex-migrant children and rural family old-age support, (â…´)the influence factors of the decision of the children remained behind and its consequences, and (â…µ)the research of the peasant laborers return migration. Through the six aspects analysis, it is concluded that the positive influences of rural surplus labors working outside the countryside are promoting the rural land transfer markets developing, raising the peasant families'income levels which in turn increases the agricultural capital investment, enhancing the financial ability of the children supporting the rural remained parents, improving the nutritious and healthy condition of the family members which promotes their working efficiency, in the meantime, the return migrants representing an inflow of both financial and human resources to the rural communities, and the negative influences are the shortage of the labors in the busy seasons because of the labors transferring, the remained wives'works time too long and their burden of household working too heavy, the problems of the rural old people's daily care and heartsease, etc. arising, the remained children's not healthy growth in psychology and physiology because of the lackage of the home education. Consequently, for the above advantageous and disadvantageous factors of the rural surplus labors working outside the countryside, the appropriate measures should be taken firstly so that the favorable factors would be supported to make them yield well and the unfavorable factors would be overcome and guided to decrease the effects on the society and the families. Secondly, the social tendency of concerning with the peasant laborers and their families should be cultivated and let them share the fruits of social developing and civilization progress. Lastly, the reform of the integration of urban and rural areas should be continuously promoted and deepened so that the obstacles of the rural surplus labors transferring would be removed and the way for it would be paved. Consequently, our agriculture modernization would be realized early and the society would be more harmonious.
