Study On Execution And Design Of The System Of Government-Subsidized Student's Loan In China

As the most important way to assist poor students to meet their demand to finish school, Government-supported Student Loan Scheme (GSSLS) has resolved financial problem for poor students. But the result of GSSLS is not as good as expected and even faces great challenges. After amended several time, the new policy that just executed since 2004. so the first patch of graduates are getting into repay period in 2008. The paper further explores background of GSSL from whole assist system for college students, provides some analysis and phase summary. Furthermore, the policy of student-home-based-loan is executed in some areas in China, the author does the empirical studies and evaluates of the current policy's content, execution and the result.Based on that, the author design a practical system, the operational mechanism and environment of student loan.
