In VMI mode, although outsourcing the logistics operation to the TPL could solve the problems including insufficiency of the supplier's logistics capabilities and information capabilities, yet also brings the complicacies in VMI operation. In VMI based on TPL (VMI&TPL mode as following), the information flow and logistics of the supply chain will inevitably change. For example, the change of transportation, distribution and inventory management in VMI and the change of the information source, information transmission and information sharing etc. Therefore, towards the VMI operation with leading in TPL, it is urgent for us to solve the problem that how to product the efficient integration of information flow and logistics to realize the organic combination of TPL and VMI. For this purpose, from the systemic view, this dissertation deeply analyzed the information flow and logistics integration in VMI&TPL mode and achieved the predicted research objectives.(1)Based on the investigation of VMI strategy evolution, the dissertation expatiated the driving factors of VMI operation with leading in TPL and proposed the VMI&TPL mode in the collaborative forecasting environment and analyzed its operation characteristics. Then, based on the logistics information classification, the dissertation summarized to propose the necessary shared logistics information in VMI&TPL mode and further quantitatively analyzed the value of logistics information with adopting the value engineering theory.(2)An analytical framework and process of the information flow and logistics in VMI&TPL mode is proposed. Then the dissertation detailedly analyzed the influential factors of the information flow and logistics from five aspects including the supplier production capabilities, TPL logistics capabilities, coordination control, uncertainties and risks. Further more, the dissertation proposed the interface-based information flow and logistics integration general framework model with the foundation of information flow and logistics integration mechanism research. (3)An information flow and logistics integrated system dynamics model in VMI&TPL mode is constructed. After clearing modeling target, setting a clear system boundary, the dissertation is from logistics integrated subsystem, information flow integration subsystem, coordination control subsystem and risk subsystem to analyze the system structure of the information flow and logistics integration and analyze the interrelation of various factors among subsystems to obtain the causality graph among subsystems. Then the dissertation established the information flow and logistics system dynamics models in VMI&TPL mode and carried out the simulation analysis towards the model to discuss the impacts brought by the related factors to the information flow and logistics integration level.(4)The comprehensive information sharing and collaborative forecasting information flow and logistics integration strategies are proposed in VMI&TPL mode. According to the two integration strategies, the dissertation separately constructed the VMI&TPL system dynamics models in IS and CF Mode. According to the established system dynamics model, the dissertation selected three parameters as the factors and selected the supplier production fluctuations and supply chain system inventory fluctuations as the response variables. Meanwhile, the dissertation adopted the response surface methodology (RSM) to carry out the research towards the multiple response problems to study the influences brought by the selected parameters towards the response variables. In the research process, the dissertation used the design and analysis of experiments software Design-Expert to design the RSM experiments. Through simulation operation, the dissertation obtained the response variables data; the dissertation estimated the optimizated model's response surface and obtained the most satisfactory solution and the system optimal operation level.
