The Context Of Sustainable Development Of China-africa Economic Cooperation Research

With establishment of China-Africa Cooperation Forum in 2000, China-Africa international economic cooperation comes up to a new level. At present, domestic and international research for China-Africa international economic cooperation are either narrow point of view, or based on a single perspective, or have been and out of date, so it is necessary to make an integrated and comprehensive research of China-Africa international economic cooperation. This article is not limited in the area of resources and environment of sustainable development, but chooses the field of international economy. The main researches are as follows:Firstly, it shows researches of China-Africa relations and China-Africa international economic cooperation that conducted by Western, China and Africa scholars. Based on this it presents the value of this research paper and provides the new ideas and frameworks of China-Africa international economic cooperation in the context of sustainable development.Secondly, this article makes a research of the history, strategic transformation and mode of China-Africa international economic cooperation. Based on a careful study of China-Africa international economic cooperation history, it makes a profound analysis of three major strategic transformation of China-Africa international economic cooperation: from stress to the weakening in the area of ideology, from single to multiple in the area of communication, from focus on economic assistance to mutual benefit in the area of cooperative nature. It shows four major modes of China-Africa international economic cooperation:China-Africa trading, investment in Africa, aid to Africa, and China-Africa Cooperation Forum.Thirdly, this article makes a profound research of China-Africa international economic cooperation in the perspective of the cooperative mode. Focus on the development pattern, problem diagnosis, strategic choice and other aspects, it analyzes and discusses China-Africa trading, investment in Africa, aid to Africa, and China-Africa Cooperation Forum, further defines the strategic orientation of sustainable development of China-Africa international economic cooperation.Fourthly, this article analyzes some challenges in the process of China-Africa international economic cooperation and gives some strategic response. Those challenges mainly includes Africa's own challenges, the impact of China's industrial structure reform, some objective questions in the process of cooperation, and some queries from Western countries. It puts forward some suggestion from six aspects, including learning from the cooperative history, enhancing cooperative consensus, learning from experience of other countries and correctly handling the relations with the West. Fifthly, based on work experience it analyzes the case. The author went to Zimbabwe and worked there for a whole year, on the ground it analyzes the field and current situation of China-Zimbabwe international economic cooperation, meantime combines with the understanding and experience of individuals to make a research for China-Zimbabwe international economic cooperation.
