Donna Haraway is a famous American interdisciplinary scholar, who is also one of the representative figures in the contemporary Feminism Philosophy of Science. She is important not only in the Feminism, but also in the sociology of science and philosophy of science. Haraway’s Feminism Philosophy of Science is the attractive and significant part of her all theory.Haraway’s Feminism Philosophy of Science is related to the development of the American Feminism in her times, as well as the post-modern thought. Taking the Feminism’s criticism to the science as the clue, the evolution of the contemporary American Feminism Philosophy of Science has the following features:its criticism to the science goes from the easy to the difficult, and from the conservative to the radical. The features reflect vividly by the different ways:the criticism of the feminism to the scientific activities, to the scientific epistemology, and then the query to the "monism of science". During the thought of feminism criticism, as a representative of the Post-modernism Feminism, Haraway develops her Post-modernism Feminism Scientific View. Meanwhile, the theoretical origin of Haraway’s Feminism Philosophy of Science can be found from the booming developing social and cultural theory. Kuhn’s Paradigm Theory and postmodernism theory give her great effect, which are used frequently in Haraway’s thoughts. The ontology of Haraway’s Feminism Philosophy of Science is the Cyborgs Feminism Theory. There are different explanations about cyborgs since it is created. Haraway gives cyborgs a new connotation,"a kind of mixture of machine and organism, which is a animal not only social and realistic, but imaginary". This concept on cyborgs breaks through the limits between man and animal, between organism and machine, and between the physical and nonphysical. On this basis Haraway points out that only the cyborgs can take in all the women with various identities. The identities of women have otherness, crumbliness and diversity, which are in line with cyborgs. Haraway finds that the being of cyborgs and the women’s cyborgs characteristic can trace back to the development and application of the science and technology. She holds that it is the science and technology especially the biotechnology and communication technology that makes the social relations in the world reorganize, as well as the race, the sex and the class. Therefore we need recognize women in this situation. On the ontology of cyborgs, Haraway develops further her epistemology thought, which is named the situated knowledge. It is also the further explanation to the scientific objectivity. How to define the situated knowledge is the main issue in the feminism epistemology. As a postmodern feminism representative. Haraway’s situated knowledge is different from the general situated knowledge and the traditional scientific knowledge. On the basis of the query to the main epistemology, Haraway holds her opinion of vision:we should stick to the particularity and materiality of all the vision."Only partial perspective promises objective vision"、"The positions of the subjected have better vision","The subjected has more advantages to achieve the objectivity "o While in the traditional philosophy of science the object is recognized as resource, which has no activity. She holds that the cognitive object should be considered as the actor. By the scattered and non-system statements Haraway illustrates her objectivity ideal.Final Haraway analyses the transgenic organism issue that is argued vehemently at home and abroad on the basis of her cyborgs theory, which affords a brand new vision for us to think the transgenic organism. Instead of refusing or accepting the transgenic organism, she analyses the characteristic of transgenic organism and the reason why it is rejected. That is because the traditional science sticks to the purity of gene, as well as the "modest witness"In brief, under the influence of the feminism’s scientific criticizition, Haraway develops her feminism philosophy of science. She affords a new way to the feminism theory with fearless and maginative discuss, which has enriched the details of western philosophy of science. The liquidity and openness of her cysborgs contributes to help us seize the essence inthe new modern world.
