By original literature research, using literature review method, the history of science and research analysis method in 1872-1949, a comprehensive studywas doneon the development of China’ smodern mathematics viaChinesejournals. From the perspective of the development of the subject, scientific, impartial sketch of modern mathematical significance in the history of track and dissemination of modern China’s development, the demise of traditional Chinese and Western mathematics was witnessed in mathematics journals.The relationship between the establishmentand development of mathematics systems and journals was also carefully analyzed.The results show that:China’s traditional mathematics and modern mathematics began to shock in the second half of the 19th century, Chinese mathematicians began to understand modern mathematics by using the traditional methods of mathematics, such asLi Shanlan’ sexplanation of Fermat primes theorem in The Peking Magazine. He tried to use the modern symbol to replace the complicatedtraditional one. On the road to mathematics science,these mathematicians was closer to the mainstream of modern mathematics scholar than before. From the Journal of Chinese Mathematical Society, mathematical research can be seen generations of students returning for the development of mathematics provide academic support, such as ZengJiong achievements in abstract algebra. The perfect system of science education is the most important condition for the cultivation of scientists.Discipline education in universities provides a comprehensive, perfect support and continuous backup talents for the development of the discipline.Through the university science education system and the establishment of university and the specialized research institutions, by 1930s, China’s scientists groups have been basically formed.
