The agrochemicals containing thiazole moiety is the mainstream of the development of pesticide. Compounds with broad biological activities can be developed by incorporating and modifying the N-heterocyclic systems with different structures. In the studies of green agrochemicals with high activities, researchers have been focused on the molecules containing thiazole ring system because of its low toxicity, excellent biological activity as well as readily access of diverse derivaties. In search for novel lead compounds containing thiazole moiety with excellent biological activity, low toxicity and favorable safety profile, we analyzed the chemical structure, property and structure-activity relationships of thiazole-containing derivatives. And we designed and synthesized 6 series of 73 novel thiazole derivatives by incorporating 1H-1,2,4-triazole and diaryl ether units into the title compounds by following the principles of analogue synthesis and union of active group. The primary bioassay results indicated that some compounds showed promising plant-growth regulatory activities and several compounds exhibited herbicidal activities to some extent.Strobilurins are a promising class of fungicide with high activity, broad-spectrum, unique mode of action and ecotoxicological safety profile. In order to find new Strobilurin fungicides with improved profiles, we designed and synthesized 6 series of 34 novel thiazol-and pyrazol-containing analogues of Strobilurin by using Trifloxystrobin as a lead compound and following the principles of bioisoterism, analogue synthesis and union of active group. The bioactivity results indicated that most of the compounds exhibited excellent antifungal acitvities against Eryiphe graminis at the concentration of 200 mg/L, and some compounds showed antiviral activities to some extent.12 series of 107 novel target compounds and 30 novel intermediates were synthesized. The structures of new compounds were confirmed by NMR, IR, MS, Elemental Analyses and X-ray diffraction. The bioactivity results indicated that some compounds displayed good antifungal activities, antiviral activities, herbicidal activities and plant-growth regulatory activities. We can draw some information from new intermediates to search for compounds with high activity containing N-heterocyclic systems. And we can take some target compounds with good activities as lead compounds for further study.
