Underground mining equipments are the pillar of production and operation of mining enterprise. The safe and efficient operation of them is the core and lifeline of the whole mining enterprise, is also the most important part of the management of the enterprise. Proceeding in-depth study on the issue of " Fault diagnosis and operation management of large underground mining equipment" and innovating the method, can diagnose, prevent and eliminate a variety of abnormal condition or fault condition of underground equipment and the environment timely and correctly, and improve the reliability, security and effectiveness of large underground equipment, which promote the equipment for maximum productivity.The main direction of this paper is " one issue " and " two aspects ". One issue is " fault diagnosis and operation management of large-scale underground mining equipment". The first aspect focuses on the current situation of current and future underground operation and management of large equipment and existing problems in it. The second aspect focuses on how to apply advanced science and technology to the fault system of underground large equipment and improve the method in fault diagnosis, which can strengthen management of the equipment and increase economic efficiency.In the first aspect, this paper discusses and analyzes the concepts and methods of fault diagnosis and operations management, what’s more, it makes a clear description of the basic content of fault diagnosis system and structure, management system. Combined with actual operating conditions of current underground mine, it introduces several widely used ways of fault diagnosis and pre-monitoring. In this paper, I compare the method of fault diagnosis with method of routine medical diagnosis, between which I find the ties and differences. Usually, the fault diagnosis and operation management of large equipment and the pre-monitoring of state are carried out under normal conditions. In fact, the solution of abnormal conditions is most critical and also the most difficult, which is of a top priority and the direction of future development in this subject.In addition, this paper makes an emphatic introduction of the monitoring of condition and the method of management. It analyses parameters of condition monitoring the using principle of common sensors, which makes a clear description of three common sensors in underground mine, technologies related to signal processing and analysis and composition of the monitoring system. This paper brings up some advanced and practical method of monitoring of condition and the method of management for mining enterprise in our country.In the second aspect, this paper analyses different kinds of problems in the fault diagnosis and operation management. It makes comprehensive study on the specific conditions in mines from theory and mechanism. It also summarizes the causes and strategy comprehensively, which provide a good base for the relevant experts and engineers to explore solutions of common problems in mines.It takes Hebei Beiminghe Iron Ore as an example. The ore conducts advanced techniques and methods of fault diagnosis vigorously. It also conducts an assessment of the overall efficiency after using new methods and new techniques, which indicate the importance of promoting fault diagnosis operation management of large underground mining equipments for mining enterprises.Based on the overall analysis of fault diagnosis and operation management of large underground mining equipment, taking the as an example, it analyses the techniques of fault diagnosis and pre-monitoring. It makes discussion and study on the structure of lifting gear, principles and the phenomena, causes, diagnosis, solutions of the fault. Moreover it uses related techniques of fault diagnosis to do the situation analysis and laboratory testing, in which find the problem and the corresponding solution to the problem.Based on the study of this paper, the research need to focuses on the development of fault diagnosis technology and related capacity, mainly in the following three aspects:1) Failure mechanism and diagnosis theory;2) Extraction information of failure and methods of analysis;3) Diagnostic instruments and development and research of diagnostic system.
