| Life event is a major factor that results in coal miners’ human error and one risksource that leads to coal mine safety accident. At present, studies of coal miner’shuman error are still at the preliminary stage with the combination of first-generationstatic expert judgment and statistical analysis, with a great gap with cognitivepsychology based human error research as in the second stage, hence the laggingtheoretical research on coal miners’ human error. In the meantime, in the practice ofsafety management, coal mine enterprises are more concerned with safetymanagement over coal miners during the eight working hours but ignore the direct orpotential impacts of the life events that happen outside the working hours on humanerrors. Therefore, based on theories of human error, cognitive psychology and safetymanagement, this dissertation targets coal miners’ life events as the research object, follows the structure of―life event-psychological stress–decreased individualfunction–human error‖, clarifies the causation mechanism of coal miners’ humanerrors in the perspective of life event, determines how life events cause coal miners’human error, develops methods to quantize the impact of life events on human error, and constructs anticipating control management and security system of coal miners’human errors in the perspective of life event. With great theoretical and practicalsignificance, this dissertation enriches and develops human error theories, widens theresearch scope of coal miners’ human error theory, provides a new theoretical basisfor―people-oriented‖coal mine safety accident prevention, promotes the quantitativemeasurement and real-time monitoring of coal miners’ human error, and constitutescoal mines’ human error management mechanism established upon anticipatingcontrol. This dissertation focuses on the following four aspects. First, causation mechanismof coal miners’ human errors in the perspective of life event. Based on literature ofhuman error theory and cognitive psychology theory, it provides the definition, extension and eigenvector of coal miners’ life event, psychological stress and humanerror, makes a systematic analysis of the process in which life events influence coalminers’ human error, clarifies the causation mechanism of coal miners’ human errorsin the perspective of life event, identifies three stages and four key factors of coalminers’ human errors in the perspective of life event, and constructs coal miners’human error causation mechanism model in the perspective of life event. Second,structural-equation-based empirical research on the causation mechanism of coal miners’ human errors in the perspective of life event. This dissertation, based ontheoretical analysis, put forward hypotheses and theoretical model, constructsobservable variables, latent variables, structural equation model and model testresearch methods, obtains essential data from questionnaire survey, verifies modelgoodness of fit and hypothesis pathway through structural equation, and determinesLPIH structural equation model. Third, research on threshold measure of life event’sinfluence on human error. The dissertation develops coal miner life event scale basedon questionnaires, determines life event items by means of life event item poolconstruction, item analysis as well as verification of scale reliability and validity, identifies life event change unit value and life event influence length, and then designs44-item coal miner life event scale. Then, on the basis of coal miner life event scale, the dissertation determines the threshold of cumulative life event change unit thatcauses different human error rate by means of questionnaire, statistical analysis anddiscrete sorting model. Finally, the dissertation makes scenario analysis on thepossibility that coal miner life event cumulative change units distribute in thethreshold interval. Fourth, design of anticipating control management strategies ofcoal miners’ human errors in the perspective of life event. In accordance with thecausation pathway of life event on coal miner human error, the dissertation identifieskey prevention measures against life event based human error, and designs life eventreporting mechanism, psychological stress evaluation mechanism, psychologicalintervention mechanism and psychological intervention effect evaluation mechanism. For the purpose of effective implementation of the four mechanisms, the dissertationfurther develops organizational guarantee system, management guarantee system, culture&education guarantee system as well as software platform supporting system. This dissertation has reached the following conclusions based on the study above.First, after life events, coal miners, based on cognitive characteristics, make cognitiveevaluation for the impacts on their mentality, change and processing ability, and onthe basis of such cognitive evaluation, make problem-oriented response oremotion-oriented response. If the response fails, it will lead coal miners topsychological stress and degraded psychological function and physical function, which further results in errors in perception process, recognition and judgmentprocess as well as operation process. Second, life events produce significantly positiveinfluence on human error with an effect size of0.6251. The three causation pathwaysare―life event-psychological stress-psychological function-cognitive process error –recognition and judgment process error–operation process error‖,―life event-psychological stress-psychological function–recognition and judgment processerror-operation process error‖and―life event-psychological stress-physiologicalfunction–operation process error‖, respectively. Third, with life event cumulativechange unit (LCCU)≤78, coal miners present a very low human error rate. With78<LCCU≤124, coal miners present a low human error rate. With124<LCCU≤162,coal miners present a moderate human error rate. With162<LCCU≤197, coal minerspresent a high human error rate. With197<LCCU, coal miners present a very highhuman error rate. Fourth, the scenario analysis studies the possibility that coal minerlife event cumulative change units distribute in threshold intervals. According to theresults, as the number of life events that coal miners experience in the year increases, the possibility that LCCU values fall in the threshold interval from low to highpresents a trend of increment, increment-decrement, and sharp increment. In the end, based on the above research findings and to solve life-event-caused coalminer human error, this dissertation constructs and implements anticipating controlmanagement strategies of coal miners’human errors in the perspective of life event soas to achieve immediate life event report, objective psychological stress evolution, scientific and effective psychological intervention as well as timely adjustment ofintervention plan, and provide scientific management method, safeguard mechanismand operation platform for coal mining enterprises to effectively reduce coal minerhuman errors. |
