Belt conveyor, the most important equipment for bulk material transportation andthe most inexpensive units shipping rates, is widely used in coal mines, power plants,ports, chemical plants, environmental plants, warehouses and other areas. With therapid development of industrial technology, increasing prominent energy crisis andthe urgent need for a variety of mechanical properties, the direction development ofconveyor is urgently required toward to high-power, long-distance, high-speed.majority of belt conveyors use multi-motor drives, therefore drive systems exist loadimbalance between each motor power in the actual running time, consuming a largeamount of energy resources, low safety performance and other issues. Studies onoptimal control of downhole coal flow conveying system can simultaneously realizeboth efficient operation and energy efficiency. For this reason, the research anddevelopment of this system had significant social effect and economic value.In this thesis, the downhole continuous flow conveyor system in coal minesserves as the research object, the multi-motor drive power balance control strategywas proposed based on the dynamic model, and the motor power balancing controlscheme used frequency conversion motor to achieve multi-belt conveyor drive withPLC controller. A new monitoring system combining fieldbus monitoring system andindustrial Ethernet technology achieved using PLC controller. A novel conveyorstarted and stopped order, shun coal flow started order, was proposed. After analysisof the macroscopic conveyor system, a conclusion with minimal energy consumptionwhen the volume and speed matched obtained, based on specific relationship betweenvolume, the belt speed and energy.
