Nowadays,tape conveyor is widely used bulk material transport equipment and has the lowest unit freight in the mining,metallurgy,logistics and other industries.Especially the high characteristic of high-power transmission equipment,make the tape conveyor have a developmental trend that with high-speed,high-power and high-capacity,so usually using multi-machine drag in most instances.Due to impacts of some factors,such as the characteristics of the belt conveyor itself,the differences of mechanical characteristics and the characteristics of the load,and when system in the actual operation,each motor will appear unbalanced output condition that called power imbalance.This will produce problems such as low safety performance,energy consumption.Therefore,the balance of power of multiple machines is necessary condition to ensure their normal operation.In this paper,mainly directing at the power imbalance problem of multi-motor driven belt conveyor,studying the control algorithm of multi-machine power balance,adopting the lab simulation experiment of belt conveyor system,and verifying the effectiveness of control algorithm.Obviously,the first part is based on the theoretical basis of power balance control algorithm.Firstly,analyzing the influence factors of power imbalance from both dynamic and static methods.Then,because of different mechanical properties of the motor so that power imbalance.Secondly,studying the two methods of multi-machine connection,that is rigid connection and flexibility,and finally gives a multiple machine drive system control block diagram.Finally,on the basis of fuzzy control theory to study the fuzzy PID control algorithm.The second part,designing hardware and software of control system,debugging and validate the control algorithm research.First,designing the main circuit motor drive belt conveyor and AB PLC three-tier network control circuit,set up experimental platform;and then based on the idea of master-slave control,design the main program,load given,single speed and power balance program flow chart,and the corresponding program is written.The last is experiment,on the one hand,the traditional PID control algorithm is used to make the motor run smoothly under different load conditions.On the other hand,the fuzzy PID control algorithm is adopted to balance the power between the motors.The experimental curve shows that with the increase of load,by adjusting the mechanical properties of the motor,make each motor can run smoothly and the torque balance between the multi-motor distribution.
