| Since1980’s, with warming global climate and the deterioration of ecologicalenvironment, the sustainable development has been booming up. More and morearchitects and planners began to consider what has been brought to on human kindsby modern urban planning and construction. At the same time, China is currently in acritical stage with a nearly50percent urbanization rate, so the theme of building anew socialist country has been set off again, which lead to the movement ofinvestment in house and a big scale of demolition and construction is popular, andcaused the waste of social resources and farming lands.Under that background, the paper proposed the concept of SustainableAgriculture Community (SAC) from the perspective of planning and design. TheSAC focused on the production and processing of cereals, established a planting, processing and transportation integrated industrial chain. By the infilling developingdesign mode, SAC developed satellite towns to compose the city external networks. This paper adopted the combination of literature study and investigation study, qualitative study and quantitative study, to ensure the scientific, authenticity andobjectivity. Especially in quantitative aspect, on the one hand, the author used thespace syntax theory and related analysis software, from the perspective of topological,to dig the self-organization mechanisms existing in the spatial structure of traditionalagriculture village, which was the starting point of SAC design, and using the axisanalysis on the examples to ensure the spatial self-organization was the preconditionof infill developing design. On the other hand, the author used the analysis networkprocess (ANP), based on the expert questionnaire, established the SAC developmentevaluation index system, including3dimensions, economic development, social lifeand ecological environment, to provide the decision making basis. The innovation of this paper included the following3aspects:(1) Puttingforward the concept of SAC;(2) Establishment of the study framework of the SAC;(3)Establishment of SAC development evaluation index system. The ultimate objective of this paper is to through exploring a series of planningand design strategy to establish a compounded SAC. The SAC is different from the traditional urban and rural areas, which focused on agriculture industry with largescale, is similar with urban in economy and social pattern and is similar with rural inspace and natural environment. The SAC is profound reflection of the rapid process ofurbanization, and is also from outside into inside innovative planning and designmethods. Through the study on the SAC, the author wished to give a direction on thesustainable development of the overall environment system, including urban and ruralareas. |
