Development of urban rail transit has become an important means to ease traffic congestion, reduce pollution and achieve the target of building livable city in big cities. With the growing of operating lines, urban rail transit has entered the era of network operation in China, and the network structure is more complex, passenger demand is more diverse, transport organization has also been put forward higher requirements. Based on the current situation of urban rail transit network operating, in-depth analysis of structural characteristics, passenger flow characteristics and transport organization characteristics of urban rail transit network, research of transport organization optimization method, is conducive to fully understand the network supply and demand characteristics, improve the efficiency of network operation, enhance network operation and management level.Firstly, on the basis of analyzing the network geometric forms, network type and characteristics, the network topology model of physical network and transfer network were constructed based on Space L method and Space P method with the complex network theory, structural characteristics of urban rail transit network were in-depth analyzed. According contrast complex network statistical characteristics of planning network and operating network, network evolutionary characteristics were studied, and network flexibility after important node failure and line failure were further analyzed.Secondly, the passenger route choice impact factors of urban rail transit network were analyzed, generalized travel cost functions of different categories of passengers were established based on difference of passenger familiarity on the network and route choice basis, a route choice model was constructed based on passenger classification, case study results indicated that the classification of the passengers can make the route choice results more realistic. The impact of emergencies on the passenger route choice was analyzed, the number of affecting passengers calculation method was eatablished based on network topology.Once again, based on large amounts of data of urban rail AFC system, passenger characteristics of urban rail transit network were studied through in-depth data mining, passenger time and spatial distribution were analyzed from the different time scales of "year-month-week-day" and different spatial dimensions of "line-interval-station", and the transfer passenger flow characteristic were in-depth analyzed. For passenger travel time volatility characteristics of OD pairs, the passenger travel time distribution of typical OD pairs were analyzed, the passenger travel time volatility evaluation method was built based on kernel density estimation method, and the impact of travel time segments, transfer times and travel distance on travel time volatility were analyzed.Finally, the train regulation optimization methods under emergency circumstances were studied for urban rail transit. From the perspective of improving the passenger service level, the adjustment strategies of " first station control" and "multi-station coordinated control" were put forward, the train regulation model was built considering both the train capacity constraints and train operation condition constraints and having minimum passenger waiting time for the optimization objectives. The model was a quadratic integer programming model and solved using Lingo software, the case results showed the effectiveness of the model and can provide ancillary support for the train regulation under emergency circumstances.
