As an economic and efficient new lateral bracing structural system used in the multi or high-rise steel structure building, the Steel Plate Shear Wall is composed of steel frame and steel plate, it has many advantages, such as higher lateral stiffness, better energy dissipation capacity and ductility capacity. Analysis of the current design on this system is based on the assumption that the beam-column connections of the steel frame are either rigid or pinned, but a large number of studies have demonstrated that the actual performance of the different connections is semi-rigid between the two extremes in construction practice. The flexibility of the connection can produces corresponding influence on the structure of the internal force, displacement, stability and cycle performance, therefore, from the practical point of view of engineering, it is meaningful to study the semi-rigid steel frame-steel plate shear wall.As a typical semi-rigid connection, the Flush-end Plate Connection has the advantages of simple structure and quick construction, It can improve the ductility and energy dissipation capacity of structure. In this paper, the connection is used in the Simi-rigid Frame-Steel Plate Shear Wall system, which can not only use the ductility of the semi-rigid frame, but also the ductility and stiffness of steel plate shear wall. The main research contents of this paper are as follows:1) In this dissertation, low cyclic loading tests are conducted for three single span two storey steel frame-steel plate shear wall structures with flush-end plate connections, Through the experimental, Study some properties of the system are studied, such as the system failure process and pattern under low cyclic loading, the bearing capacity, stiffness, ductility and other mechanical properties, the relationship between the internal force distribution between the steel plate wall and steel frame, the local performance of the system Including the beam column strain and deformation of steel plates, and the energy dissipation mechanism.2) The structure stress mechanism and failure modes of semi-rigid frame-Steel plate shear wall structures with flush-end plate connections is studied, When the steel plate wall is analyzed with three different forms of(non stiffened plate, cross stiffened plate, inclined stiffener plate) to the whole structure bearing capacity, hysteretic behavior, wall stress and deformation development.3) The SHELL181 element is used to simulate the beam, column and wall, Combin39 spring element to simulate semi-rigid nodes, non reinforced specimen steel wall, cross stiffened specimens of diagonal stiffened steel plate wall, the test steel wall three specimens under monotonic and cyclic load under the action of stress and deformation development was calculated with finite element software ANSYS, through coMParing with the test, the results proved that the finite element model can accurately simulate the performance after buckling of the semi-rigid steel frame steel plate shear wall structure, and the numerical analysis method is effective.4) Application of ANSYS finite element program of flush end plate connection of the semi rigid frame steel plate shear wall system analysis of variable parameters, analyzed the influence of wall thickness of steel plate, frame column section moment of inertia and the stiffening rib section moment of inertia on the overall performance of the structure.5) Calculate the moment rotation relationship curve of flush end plate connection according to Kishi & Chen power function model, on the basis of this, contrast the overall mechanical properties of parts when using different semi-rigid connections(bolted and welded connections, flush end plate connections and top seat and web angles connections),In addition, by using ANSYS finite element software, analysis of influence of hinged joint, semi rigid, rigid connection of unstiffened and stiffened, cross diagonally stiffened steel plate shear wall structure of three kinds of ultimate bearing capacity.The research shows that the semi-rigid frame-steel plate shear wall is a kind of excellent lateral resistant system, through the study on performance of this system, it can provide a theoretical basis for the future engineering practice.
