With saving energy and protecting the environment increasingly vital concerns in China, the utilization of new energy and energy saving technology are booming. Many new technologies and equipments are experiencing a transition from experiment to application. With a lower quality energy requirement, the community is a good platform of low quality energy. Low quality energy got much attention, but its application was so weak, that its utilization ratio was low in the community. This paper made an adaptation research on community of the wastewater heat recovery system, to explore how to keep low quality energy application better in building regional. The "adaptation" was used for evaluating the feasibility of energy utilization technology in the specific construction, and making the application of the energy utilization technology adapt to the characteristics of projection. Waste heat utilization technology adaptation research included the scientific decision of waste heat utilization technology in the specific project and the optimization of application to adapt to dynamic characteristic of the project.This paper analyzed the theoretical basis to rational energy plan of community, established a building energy planning method, evaluated the adaptability of the waste heat recovery technology in particular community, and provided a support for waste heat utilization scientific decision-making scheme. According to the regional spatial distribution characteristics, building function and time distribution characteristics of energy consumption, considering the quantity and quality of total energy demand with available resources, the community energy plan made a project of energy supply forms, and established the energy model, and gained a quantitative indicators evluating the rationality of regional energy utilization.This article conducted adaptation research of waste heat recovery system from three aspects. The first was the study of the dynamic characteristics of equipment to adapt to the variable condition. High temperature heat pump(HTHP) unit was designed for a waste heat recovery project, using a patented product of By-3 refrigerant. The experimental data showed that heat pump unit had a good performance in the design condition. To predict the performance of the heat pump in different condition, the paper compared the relationship between the theoretical and actual cycle, and proposed the multivariate linear and non-linear mathematical models about heat pump coefficient of performance(COP) with multivariate regression analysis. The second was the optimization design of operation mode to adapt to the operating conditions. this paper designed a waste water heat recovery system using HTHP for domestic hot water(DHW) heating, and established a system energy consumption model for different application process simulation, to provide the basis for program decisions. Different processes and operation control methods were compared based on simulation of the dynamic energy consumption. The third was to design a waste water heat exchange to adapt to the water resources characteristic. In order to solve the fouling problem in heat exchanger wastewater, to ensure stable operation of waste heat recovery technology, this paper presented a new waste water heat exchanger, and explained its fouling prevention and removal mechanism.
