How to reduce the impact of the global warming on human survival and development has become the focus attention around the world today. Through photosynthesis, forest vegetation absorb CO2and fix it as the form of their biomass called carbon sequestration function of forest vegetation. As the ability carbon sink role in global carbon balance and circulate, Forest become carbon sequestration study focus on the object.In the paper we get Da Qingshan Mountain as study area, take the main forest vegetations:White birch natural secondary plantation, Chinese pine plantation, Larix principis-rupprechtii and Ostryopsis davidiana Decne shrub as the study objects. The main research for them are forest stand growth characteristic relationship rules, biomass rules, established DBH-H relationship regression model, regressive relationshop between the stand volume and biomass, and get the carbon researves estimation.Specific research conclusion is as follows:1.Establish DBH-H relationship models are: White birch:H=44.2159e-317e-0.0004937D Pinus tabulaeformis:H=3.15.5343e-6.3077D-0.2448Larix principis-rupprechtii:H=34.3551(1-e-0.0245D1.0834Ostryopsis davidiana Decne shrub:H=31.5088(1-e-004305D)1.62932. Establish arbor species biomass-stand volume models are: White birch natural forests:W=1.15021V0.745282 Larix principis-rupprechtii:W=0.975285V0.891698Chinese pine plantation forests: W=8.750701+0.349004V-0.000263V2+1.58×10-7V34.Through the difference research between the measured value and reference value of carbon rate, the measured value is lower than the reference value. The result shows that in northwest arid and semi-arid areas the carbon rate of the vegetation were got the influence of the local environment and climate factors. Its value was lower than the value in north China. That is to say, the carbon storage capacity of the vegetation is weaker than its in north China. Therefore, when the research area is in a similar environment and climate conditions with the study area (northwest China), the study of carbon storage and carbon density should choose the results of this time study as the basis for estimation.5. Carbon reserves estimationCarbon storage densities are:White birch broad-leaved:46.0887t/hm2; Chinese pine plantation forests:27.0094t/hm; Larix principis-rupprechtii forests:18.0323t/hm2. Carbon reserves are:White birch broad-leaved:1.9968Tg; Chinese pine plantation forests:0.2183Tg; Larix principis-rupprechtii forests:0.03395Tg. Tree layer total carbon storage is4.9392Tg.Shrub area total carbon brush is1.590864Tg, the ground part of carbon is0.713426Tg, root carbon0.87819Tg.
