| Object iveThe author of this paper makes an analysis and data mining on empirical formula towards gynecological disease of famous doctors in Lingnan area via document study. This paper tries to analyze and explore the discernment and treatment characteristics on gynecological disease of famous doctors in Lingnan area. Besides, the author of this paper also applies data statistics to explore the formula in medical cases of famous doctors in Lingnan area, with which to explore the prescription regularity towards gynecological disease of famous doctors in Lingnan area.MethodWith the help of libraries and search engines in Guangzhou, the author does research on a lot of material related to gynecological disease of famous doctors in Lingnan area from the Republic of China period till now, collecting materials on gynecological disease.These materials include notes of a few old doctors on Chinese medicine, medical notes, medical cases collection, medical papers about Chinese medicine and so forth. The author of this paper studies and puts down famous doctors’prescriptions, sorting out gynecological disease cases in a few contexts. After sorting out data, the write of this paper applies the CPAIS system which is invented by Professor Rentinge of School of Basic Medicine of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine.And the data exploring software spss clementine12.0 is also applied in studying medicine with high frequency in the case prescription. Spss13.0 is used into analysis on formula medicine of study medical case. Among the analysis, there are frequency analysis, factor analysis, cluster analysis and association rules analysis.ResultsThe author collected thirty-four empirical formulas of famous doctors in Lingnan area. Among them, there are eight formulas on uterine bleeding;eight ones on threatened abortion, fetal irritability and habitual abortion;two formulas on amenorrhea;two formulas on dysmenorrhea, five formulas on pelvic inflammation;three formulas on abdominal mass;two formulas on leukorrheal diseases;three formulas on regulating menstruation;one formula on infertility. The author of this paper has received one hundred and sixty-three cases on gynecological disease of famous doctors in Lingnan area. The flow rate of the outpatients is five hundred and nine.There are eighty-nine emmeniopathy cases, which include uterine bleeding, delayed menstrual cycle, preceded menorrhea, dysmenorrhea, amenorrhea, hypermenorrhea, hypomenorrhea, menstruation without regular basis, premenstral syndrome and menostaxis. And other cases of illness are as follows: five cases of threatened abortion,nine cases of fetal irritability, thirteen cases of habitual abortion, seven cases of postpartum Lochiorrhea, twenty-seven cases of infertility, twelve cases of abdominal mass and one case of leukorrheal diseases.Moreover, the writer of this paper has put all the formulas of threatened abortion, fetal irritability, habitual abortion, uterine bleeding into CPAIS system so as to make analysis. And prescription and formulas towards gynecological disease of famous doctors in Lingnan area are recorded intoclementine12.0 and spss13.0, with which frequency analysis, factor analysis, cluster analysis and association rules analysis would be done.results1. exploring results of prescription:the author of this paper has used CPAIS system to do with formulas of threatened abortion, fetal irritability anduterine bleeding. Furthermore, the author of this paper has analyzed the proportion of each medicine ingredient and generality of medicine ingredients and so on.Most medicine ingredients within formulas of threatened abortion, fetal irritability and uterine bleeding are bitter, sweet and spicy. Among them bitter medicine ingredients take up a large proportion. In terms of the drug properties of formulas, there are mainly peaceful property of drug and warm property of drug. And the as for whole prescription formulas, there are more peaceful property of drug but not too much. The channel tropism of whole prescription formulas are mainly through liver, kidney and spleen.1. Complete exploring results of gynecological disease:the author of this paper has applied SPSS clementine12.0 and SPSS13 system to deal with the prescription drugs of one hundred and sixty-three gynecological disease cases of famous doctors in Lingnan area. Among four hundred and fifty-five prescriptions,-two hundred and fifty-eight drugs which have been used 4345 times are analyzed with data. Those drugs with high frequency are studied with frequency analysis, factor analysis, cluster analysis and association rules analysis. And here are the results:(1) The results of mathematics:the top 15 drugs that famous doctors in Lingnan area use most in treating gynecological disease are as follows:Chinese angelica, radix paeoniaealba, atractylodes, Poriacocos, Codonopsis pilosula, liquorice, prepared rehmannia root,the seed of Chinese dodder, Ligusticum wallichii, Chinese yam, parasitic loranthus, the root of red-rooted salvia, leonurus, teasel root and Caulis Spatholobi. Among them, Chinese angelica are used with the highest frequency, namely,245 times. Among those drugs that are used for more than 15 times, there are 35 kinds of sweet drugs,31 kinds of bitter drugs,20 kinds of spicy drugs,7 kinds of sour drugs,5 kinds of salty drugs, two kinds of light drugs and two kinds of heavy drugs. Within the study, there are 29 kinds of peaceful property drugs,15 kinds of cool property drugs,4 kinds of cold property drugs,15 kinds of natural property drugs and one kind of hot property drug.44 kinds of drugs go through liver and 32 drugs go through kidney. 22 drugs go through spleen and 16 drugs go through lung.13 drugs go through heart and 6 drugs go through stomach.4 drugs go through gut and 4 drugs go through pericardium meridian. Moreover, there are 3 drugs going through bladder meridian. Among the prescription, there are mainly drugs for restoring vital energy and drug for invigorating blood circulation and eliminating stasis. The frequency of drugs for restoring vital energy takes up a proportion of 46.14% in the whole drug using while drug for invigorating blood circulation and eliminating stasis takes up a proportion of 15.24%. After these two drugs, there are heat-clearing drugs, damp-clearing drug and hemostatics. Interior-warming drug are seldom used. Drugs for restoring vital energy and drug for invigorating blood circulation and eliminating stasis are highly used. Yin-nourishing herbs are more often used than yang-nourishing herbs.(2) Analysis results of association rules:when curing gynecological disease, famous doctors in Lingnan area have used plenty of medicine suits and drug group. Table four presents the commonly used drugs. For instance, there are radix bupleuri, mint, pollen typhae, trogopterus dung, glossy privet fruit, eclipta, tu-chung, parasitic loranthus,Chinese angelica, caulis spatholobi,the root of red-rooted salvia, dogwood and Chinese yam, which are all 67 groups. And the special medicine that are commonly used by famous doctors in Lingnan area are 38 groups.2. Medicine analysis towards gynecological disease of famous doctors in Lingnan area:191 drugs are used in 89 gynecological disease cases and the frequency is 972 times.(1) High frequency drugs of gynecological disease cases and syndrome analysis results of association rules:bellyache with type of qi and blood asthenia could be treated well by using Chinese angelica, radix paeoniae alba, prepared rehmannia toot and poria cocos. Bellyache with blood stasis could be treated well by using leonurus and the rhizome of chuangxiong. Bellyache with liver Qi stagnation could be treated well by using radix bupleuri. Menstruation without smooth blood could be treated effectively by using cattail pollen, radix paeoniae alba, Chinese angelica, poria cocos, rhizoma alismatis and the root bark of the peony tree. Menstruation without proper cycle could be treated well with fleece-flower root and rhizoma atractylodis macrocephalae.(2) The analysis result of association rule between drugs with higher frequency of menopathy and syndrome:liver stagnation syndrome is correlated significantly with drugs such as mint, bupleurum, radix paeoniae alba, and poria cocos; spleen deficiency is correlated significantly with drugs such as atractylodes, poria cocos, Codonopsis pilosula, and astragalus; blood stasis is correlated significantly with drugs such as Codonopsis pilosula, angelica sinensis, and typhae pollen, liver-yin deficiency is correlated significantly with dried radix rehmanniae, kidney-yin deficiency is related significantly with dried radix rehmanniae, and herba ecliptae.(3) the analysis result of drug factor with higher frequency of menopathy:12 factors and corresponding drugs are acquired:F1:mint, Chinese yam, cortex moutan, rhizoma alismatis, cornus officinalis, poria cocos; F2:bupleurum, mint; F3:angelica sinensis, white peony root, rhizoma chuanxiong, prepared rehmannia root; F4:atractylodes, Codonopsis pilosula, astragalus; F5: spatholobus suberctu, salviae miltiorrhizae, citrus; F6:dipsacus asperoids, herba leonuri, rhizoma cyperi; F7:fructus lycii, semen cuscutae; F8:dried radix rehmanniae, typhae pollen, herba ecliptae; F9:oyster, cuttlebone, red peony root; F10:oyster, cuttlebone; F11:radix glycyrrhizae, herba taxilli; F12:folium artemisiae argyi, radix ophiopogonis, fleece-flower root. (4) the analysis results made by famous doctors in Lingnan area about the cluster of the higher frequency of menopathy:4 clustering prescription is acquired:C1:angelica sinensis, white peony root, poria cocos; C2: atractylodes, Codonopsis pilosula, astragalus, radix glycyrrhizae, radix rehmanniae preparata, rhizoma chuanxiong,; C3:herba leonuri, spatholobus suberctu, salviae miltiorrhizae; C4:Chinese yam, cortex moutan, dried radix rehmanniae, rhizoma alismatis, radix ophiopogonis, cornus officinalis, herba ecliptae.Conclusion:1. Through the analysis and data mining about the prescription of gynecologic diseases by famous doctors in Lingnan area, it can be concluded that treatment about the gynecological hemorrhagic-disease is based on the liver, spleen, and kidney and it featured of plain prescription and caring for people’s Yin 2.163 gynecological medical records collecting through document are processing by SPSS Clementine 12.0 and SPSS13.0. Mathematical analysis about the 258 medicinal herbs of the 455 prescriptions which have been used for 4345 times, combined with the association rule analysis of the high frequency herbs, the medication feature and the compatibility rule by the famous doctors in Lingnan area can be concluded as followed:(1) medication feature:famous doctors in Lingnan area are inclined to select sweet, bitter, and pungent herbs in curing the gynecologic diseases, and reject to abundantly use acerb herbs in case of damaging spleen, causing blood stasis. The moderate herbs are preferred than the cool herbs. The strongly bitter and cold, significantly influential, grammatically acrid and poisonous herbs are not suggested to use, however, a small dose of those herbs, compatibility rule and processing methods are suggested in occasional use. Cool herbs are more preferred than cold herbs. Sweet and cool herbs are more preferred than bitter and cold herbs to clear heat. Sweet and moderate or plain and nourished herbs are more preferred than drastic supplementation to have nourishment. The famous doctors in Lingnan area pay attention on balance on Yin and Yang, nourishment rather than dryness, nutriment rather than greasiness, clearness rather than coldness. Furthermore, those doctors are good at utilizing compatibility rule to adjusting the property of the herbs, so as to keep the prescription in a moderate state rather than any bias. In one word, those doctors are featured in moderate medication than drastic one.(2) Compatibility rule:Compatibility rule of famous doctors in Lingnan area analyzed by the excavated special medicine suit:qi-invigorating drug can be combined with the damp-clearing drug. Spleen-strengthening and qi-reinforcing drug can be combined with depressed liver relieving drug; Spleen-strengthening and qi-reinforcing drug can be combined with blood-quickening and stasis-transforming drug; spleen-strengthening and qi-reinforcing drug can be combined with yin-enriching and fluid-producing drug; antanemic drug can be combined with qi-reinforcing drug; blood-nourishing drug can be combined with blood-quickening drug; antanemic drug can be combined with qi-regulating drug; heat-clearing and blood-cooling drug can be combined with blood-quickening and stasis-transforming drug; heat-clearing and blood-cooling drug can be combined with blood-nourishing drug; warming channel and expelling cold drug can be combined with blood-quickening and stasis-transforming drug; yin-nourishing drug can be combined with yang-nourishing drug.3. Mathematical analysis to the 191 medicinal herbs during 89 months’medical record about the first menopathy prescription which have been used for 972 times and have complete four diagnostic methods, association rule analysis about the drugs with higher frequency, factor analysis and clustering analysis can be concluded by SPSS Clementine 12.0 and SPSS13.0 gathered through documents. Association rule analysis reflects the relations between the drugs with higher frequency to symptom and drugs with higher frequency to syndrome in the treatment of menopathy. The generality of the medication rule about the treatment of one symptom and one syndrome regarding menopathy of the famous doctors in Lingnan area can be concluded, which quantitatively demonstrating the relations among symptom, syndrome and herbs, so as to make the understanding and expressing of the doctor’s experience more easily. The drugs with higher frequency for curing menopathy by those famous doctors in Lingnan area can be analyzed through factor analysis and clustering analysis. The herb information and 4 clustering prescription correspondent to the 12 factors can be concluded, which backstepping that the pathologies of menopathy in Lingnan area is generally due to disorder of qi and blood, and the disease location is in liver spleen and kidney. |
